Evidence of some sort of military build-up - shot today in Santa Cruz CA.

What's so scary? How do you think military equipment is transported? Rail is the cheapest form of transportation.

Imagine if we were all using this for defense than in Af-dang-ghanistan?

Homeland Security will probably track down the person who made that video...

Is it gear coming back from Iraq? Shipped to San Franciso and then by train to some storage base? No guns on them.

Scares me plenty. I know someone who works at a base and said they are building up. Why now? What's up?

A quote from the comments section of 'tube':

You know originally I was going to say "Come on you idiots, those are probably just back from Iraq or Afghanistan or something." and then I realized that the camo doesn't look right. Wouldn't they have desert camo if they were just back from Iraq? Wouldn't they not look uniform/fresh coat of paint, ready to be armed? These look like a delivery from a factory, not a returning armor company. I mean, they are ALL BRADLEYS!!!!!! Where are the other vehicles in the company?!?!?!!?!?

You guys understand that to get from point a to point b things have to move stuff.

The cheapest way to move stuff is by rail.

If I needed to move equipment I would use rail to save money. It's quite normal to move machinery around in large quantities.

You seem paranoid if you don't think this is normal military behavior.

I live next to Camp Pendelton. I will take a look and see if there is activity there. I knew 6 months before we went into Iraq we were going to war just by watching all the equipment being moved from rail flatbeds and onto ships off shore. It was the first year they cancelled the war games that summer.

Those are fuel trucks the others are Bradleys I wouldn't put too much stock in it. This happens all the time and they are probably going to Ft Irwin (National Training Center) near Barstow California.

what is this doing in CAlifornia Santa Cruz?

Being shipped from a factory in the north? I dunno....

This clip was on my newsfeed on FB and I asked someone to make a tube out of it. Here is the original comment that came with the clip:

''began filming this after a dozen or so train cars went by on a stretch of track south of Santa Cruz California. Where are the military vehicles going? Why are they being shipped? What could this possibly be for? Barack Obama, what are you up to? We want answers.....'''

BTW those aren't for combat. Notice that they are Army green. Ones sent for deployment are Desert tan.

Why move it around the states? What would be the point of that?

you know equipment breaks down, needs repair, ir new ones are ordered.

If you build something you HAVE to move it. Is it going to stay around the factory forever?

Moving military equipment is not abnormal.

I doubt this was replacement for broken-down equipment. We're talking hundreds of tanks here.
