Do you ever get tears in your eyes watching Ron Paul?

My point is - get rid of your tears and such - get manimal. GET AGGRESSIVE! You won't get anywhere without it.

I do. Often too. And before you get smart, I'm a pretty tough guy. I can take a lot and have taken a lot in my 57 years on this planet. But when I see this guy in certain settings, that's it, I get tears in my eyes. Have a problem with that?

Heh Heh

Like this one as soon as I saw him walking toward the stage and all the people shouting Ron Paul! And there I go again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6oUGDVfNLs

G-d bless you all in the RP/Liberty movement. May we all live to see a free country one day.

+rep.

Im a 40-ish motorbiker, hunter, etc... and yes, RP tears me up sometimes.

I'm with ya bro.

Yes he has put me in tears several times... mostly when I reflect on his sacrifice and devotion to the principles of liberty.... and that the masses don't want liberty.... That makes me weep.

Hes come very close a few times. I usually just feel so proud. To be a part of the Ron Paul movement is embracing a philosophy. The people are what makes this so exciting for me.

I do, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Ron Paul has really affected my life, not just politically, but in a lot of ways. He's a remarkable individual. His "idea whose time has come" is very haunting and powerful, but one thing he said that stays with me, as a person, was when he said, "Once you become knowledgable about something, you have an obligation to do something about it!"

in 07' when Faux asked him "concerned with electability... do you have any, sir" and the crowd laughs and Dr. Paul just smiles.

Veterans for Ron Paul march on Pres. Day during the moment of silence for veterans who have committed suicide after coming back and seeing one guy's bottom lip quiver which I can only imagine is from a personal experience

Both of those got me

It's not so much Ron Paul but the people that are there to see him, wave signs, volunteer, etc. The thing that brings me to tears is that I'm not alone and sometimes that hits me like a sack of bricks.

I cried when Ron Paul made sense to me. I stumbled upon a video that showed a clip from a fox news debate when Ron Paul mentioned "blowback" and the former New York mayor challenged him.

The first thing that came to my mind was the feeling of confusion i felt when i was in afghanistan. We ended up killing a whole family of nearly 25 people and only 2 survived. 2 males that were well past their 50's. Wives, children , brothers and sisters all dead. Their family bloodline ended that day and all we gave them was 10,000 USD for the mistake, and a chaplain spoke to them through a interpretor for about a hour and then we moved on.

Since then i have enjoyed destroying these chickenhawks that want to beat their drums for more war, but dont want to get their hands dirty and enlist and go do the job they feel that needs to be done.

In school i was always a C average student and didnt really care for "education". Now I'm a Army vet enrolled in school not only for IT technology but studying economics/political science also.

Ron Paul has inspired me and shown me what true character and honor is. Thank you Ron Paul.

Dr. Paul has brought me to tears somewhere between 2 and 5 times.

the 13 minute video was one of them. it was the first time i realized how vast his impact really has been.

the New Hampshire speech was another

I think there have been others but I can't exactly recall.

this one gets me every time:

I've only got tears in my eyes one time and this is coming from someone that almost never cries unless a close death is involved. But that one time was right as Ron Paul walked out on stage for his Maine 'Victory' speech. No matter how many times I watch it, I can't help but see the sadness in his eyes. I know he claims to not be an absolutist but I have no doubt he was assured he would win that day. He tried to sound and remain cheerful and optimistic, but I honestly teared up for him that day. It broke my heart to see it right in front of me. That no matter how honest, caring, and knowledgeable this politician was, no matter how much of his life he has dedicated to believing in what our amazing country was founded on, the voters still didn't turn out to give this man a win. I have never in my life been so shocked, confused, and sadden all at the same time as I was that day. I saw a man fighting for his life for what he believed in, and in an instant I saw it all be crushed by the greed of our own government.

Yeah, I felt sick to my stomach. It was the first time he actually seemed disappointed.

I almost came to tears watching the crowd of 4000 at Michigan State stand and rise to greet Dr. Paul....shows us who clearly sees the flaws in America and who has the most enthusiastic supporters in this race.
