CNN national poll... Much better, Rand in 6th

someone dosnt know how to place the results in order......anyone catch that?

It is in the order of their current ranking based on RCP average. Being out of order is a good thing for Rand, because it means his RCP average has increased!

On purpose? It's been like that since Ron Paul.

why is Rand Paul 8th in the list but 6th in the polls?

Were you sleeptalking...?

Curious to know what folks here think about how the Ben Carson numbers will ultimately resolve themselves.

Let me guess, this one wasn't manipulated by the conspirators.

Anyway, good to see.

Hope he takes a significant chunk. There is a higher likelihood that his delegates will go to an anti-establishment candidate.

He's drawing support from Walker, like Walker he will need to win Iowa to keep going.

Not sure, but if he continues to poll well leading to caucus, there will be ads regarding his statements on guns from Beck's show. That one statement is enough for me to never want to put a check by his name.

Walker needs to win Iowa, but Rand only needs to show a good performance to keep going. He has the grassroots Ron spread, Walker not.

That's the quirky thing about forums. They attract the people nationally who are the most intensely emotional about the subject in a manic-depressive way and need an outlet. So everything is exaggerated.

YOU DONT KNOW ME!!!!!

*goes off in a manic rage*

Good news BUT please stop the nonsense in here.

1. Stop with the youth vote crap. It's OLD people that vote in the primaries/caucus/general. Youth vote (17-29) will account for maybe 15% of the total votes. There is only so much of the youth vote that can go around with 10-15 candidates in Iowa and NH.

2. Stop with the landline vs. cell phone crap. It's a non argument and last time around it proved there is not a difference in such polling tactics. All polling companies know how to do their job. Polling all cell phone people only isn't going to change the fact that landline people won't vote. HELLO!

I can't wait until we get closer to Iowa where these same people above will be LIKE..."OMG I hope there is a snow storm cause only Paul supporters will go to the polls."

It's all nonsense. Know how to WIN A REPUBLICAN primary...gotta do well in Iowa, NH and SC or you are TOAST. The game is over after that...

Rand has PLENTY of time to climb to the top and frankly you don't want to be there at this point. No one ever lasts that long this far out from Iowa as a front runner. Remember Bachmann, then Perry, then Gingrich, then Cain, etc. last go around? Gingrich did make a small comeback in SC but fizzled again.

I disagree. If you don't finish strong in Iowa/NH with the winner you are toast. It's just the way the political game works.

Walker rose in the polls a few months back and I see him fading already...will be hard for him to win or come in second IMO.

Rand only needs to show a good performance [in Iowa] to keep going.

I dont see where we disagree. Or do you mean Rand has to win one of the two?

Besides of that I highly doubt, that "all polling companies know how to do their job" like if they would do everything 100% correct and would have no political agenda whatsoever. I rather think that believing this is a bit naive.

I suggest we put this in our signatures. Maybe then people will finally get it.

Thanks . . . CNN is of course the co-sponsor of the Reagan Foundation Simi Valley debate and is way more important than Faux News polls

Look at Question 11 - Percent of people (All Americans) who have NEVER HEARD of the candidate -
Trump is like 1 and 2 % - while Kasich (44%) and Carly (43%) and Walker (37%) were pretty much unknown entities
that is bad Kommie Kasich and Carly (Billion Dollar Baby) Fiorna 44% and 43% never even heard of them . . .

I would have liked to see where Rand recognition polls at . . . but he was not included in that Question.

ok, RPF's -- everyone get a landline!!!!

I have a landline, but I only answer the phone if the caller ID shows someone I want to talk to.
If a polling company did call me, would the caller ID make this obvious?
Would it say CNN, or Rasmussen, or Quinnipiac, etc.?

I don't know, but you can always google the number/ID ?

Yeah, there are a lot of sites out there now like whocalled.us, 800notes, stopting.us, if you search the number in google, it will show up if someone has posted on those sites about the number.

Just need to stay in the top 10 for the CNN debate, to avoid the kiddie table. It's been uncomfortably close in some polls...
