Was that the party that advertises the big tent? Sounds more like a private club to me.
While listening to this, I imaginged myself there, picking up my chair and smashing it against the chairman's podium. This infuriated me.
They usually ziptie the chairs together. Im bringing my knife.
This is sickening. They write the rules, we follow them, we're more intelligent than them, they get made, they break the law, and then try and fuck us over. We have to fight this type of trash. I assume the people are going to take some kind of legal action?
EDIT: I actually had to turn on "One Love" by Bob Marley to get me to chill out after hearing this. Marley is definitely the one thing that can chill me out after anything. (Without anything to help him too!)
We're working on it all. Our state convention isn't until June. It's not going to be ignored.

You have to address this now. You need to file a grievance with the State GOP to have the entire process overturned. And, hopefully, have the chairman removed. I would not stop there. Get a friendly media source (the Houston Chronicle has been amenable though an Austin paper would be better) and get the full story out there. Try one of those local TV shows that purports to fight for your rights. We have a couple here in Dallas but something closer to Corpus would be better.
First, I'm not in Nueces myself, I'm in DFW (do I know you?). Second, don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying we're waiting til June to deal with this. The SD conventions were the 29th; we've spent the time since then mostly working on what challenges need to be made and getting everything together. I'm being vague about who all "we" is and what all is going on rather than post every detail here because that seems prudent for now, but a whole lot of detail will be released at the right time. If the Nueces people want to go into more on this one here now that's certainly their own business.
