I'm not quitting the Republican party, but im defiantly not going to empower corrupt individuals within the republican party by voting for them if that's what you meant by quitting
No, that's definately not what I meantI'm not quitting the Republican party, but im defiantly not going to empower corrupt individuals within the republican party by voting for them if that's what you meant by quitting
Apparently, a lot of people were expecting a friendly competitive bake-off, with mutual compliments, recipe exchanges, and blue ribbons awarded to the sound of polite applause.
What they got was a pirate-ship battle, with lots of backstabbing, throat-cutting, strung-out entrails, and slippery decks slicked with blood.
Betty Crocker meets Blackbeard.
Eh, no. Why would he mean it in a "I don't own it" way when she obviously didn't imply anything of the sort in her question? That is incorrect. Please quit spreading this falsehood.
If you listen in context and to the tone of his voice, it is clear he meant that he doesn't own or control the party. He obviously didn't mean that he isn't a member of it.
Republican national headquarters called my house today and asked for donations and "grassroots support". I yelled at that poor woman. But such smugness to mention grassroots support right when the RNC is destroying the possibility of grassroots movements within their party.
Their organization is too corrupt for me!
Again, he was saying it in a way that meant "don't blame me for what these guys do, I don't own or control the party"Eh, no. Why would he mean it in a "I don't own it" way when she obviously didn't imply anything of the sort in her question?
Q: As you are reflecting back on your campaign, are you unhappy with your party?
A: Well, it's not my party...I don't like politics at all, and I think both parties are Keynsian economists. It's both parties that support the positions that I don't like, so the party in many ways is irrelevant.
Just because he stressed the "my" doesn't mean it conveys some extra special meaning that supports your agenda here.
(See, I can copy and paste a rebuttal all over the place too.)
I tend to actually fill it with pennies and then put it in the mail without a stampI LOVE it when the RNC sends me prepaid envelopes to send emergency donations. They have a billion dollars between Romney & Rove and they need money from us? With criminals like this, it is never enough, they want every last penny from us.

Well, have you voted for liberty Republicans? Have you helped any liberty Republicans run for office? Have you ever tried to get fellow liberty types to get involved in your local GOP?I've never been a registered Republican. Guess I don't help the cause, eh Matt?![]()

Good attempt at humorAnyone care to point out the number of fallacies in Matt's arguments in this thread? You could start by throwing darts at this point.
Stop bumping these redundant damn threads. You have at least three threads in this forum which are exactly the same that you keep bumping just for the sake of inundating the forum with your agenda. It's obvious you're not replying to add anything to the discussion (25 hours since the last post and you dig it up to reply with "good attempt at humor"). You shouldn't have even made multiple ones in the first place, and now you're just adding insult to injury by keeping them all alive at the same time.
The least a mod could do is merge these threads.
