If you listen in context and to the tone of his voice, it is clear he meant that he doesn't own or control the party. He obviously didn't mean that he isn't a member of it.

I LOVE it when the RNC sends me prepaid envelopes to send emergency donations. They have a billion dollars between Romney & Rove and they need money from us? With criminals like this, it is never enough, they want every last penny from us.

I tend to actually fill it with pennies and then put it in the mail without a stamp

It's obvious you're not replying to add anything to the discussion (25 hours since the last post and you dig it up to reply with "good attempt at humor"). You shouldn't have even made multiple ones in the first place, and now you're just adding insult to injury by keeping them all alive at the same time.

The least a mod could do is merge these threads.
