I think he's going to underperform, meaning he'll get less of a percentage in Iowa than he's currently polling. Hopefully Rand has a plan to get his endorsement. I think that would be a big help and a compelling argument that Rand is the true candidate in which conservatives can unite. If Cruz and Trump keep going after each other, this could be a perfect setup. You have to assume that Carson knows the Cruz campaign was largely behind his demise in Iowa with the Evangelicals so there might be some bad blood there. I can't see him endorsing Trump. In the past he's said that he likes Rand, and they are both doctors after all.
