Where the hell is the blimp going?

The blimp will fly and if it doesn't make it to Boston that will be unfortunate but unavoidable. The blimp will not be a waste it is an excellent project with tremendous potential to grab media attention for many weeks to come. All things do not go as planned but still there can be much good result from the blimp. It is not at all a waste.

It is not a waste.

It is not a waste.

The blimp is going to be a waste of dollars that could be spent on other projects.

It's going to miss getting a HUGE boost of publicity from being at the Tea Party in Boston and it's going to be launched with only one banner with a messed up letter "n."

Nothing is going right so far and it's clear this is going to be wasted money.

Listen I can lie to myself too...

But Iowa and NH should get the blimp not NC

Iowa is way to big for a Blimp, gotta stick to the congested coasts for the best value.
Get the pilot a NFL schedule and hit a game if possible.

The N is messed up?

WTF is going on here? Everyone I hear something is screwed up with this project.

There's a minor gap in the 'n' due to a helium cap. Despite what many say, it's not too big a deal.

Why are you asking these questions, anyway? Have you considered checking the rest of the posts in other threads? All the information is right here. Just look for it.

Iowa is too big but NC is not?

I fail to see your logic here

Its flying over SC, not NC, and it will go other places as well.
There were issues in getting the banner on time, caused because the blimp company didn't have any big sticky letters so they had to order a banner, so things are taking off a bit behind schedule and their making the best of the Tea Party weekend before heading north.
Shit happens, you can either roll with it or give up and start crying. The choice is yours.

There are a couple here who are hellbent on trashing the blimp. I must conclude they paid very large sums of money and the blimp coordinators have refused to hear their concerns. That is why we have this negative complaining crap dumped on us. Now I understand. What I don't understand is what we are expected to do about it? If you don't like the blimp then don't contribute to it. If you can fly a blimp better than just go fly your own blimp and let us enjoy our blimp with all its lovable quirks. Sometimes when things go wrong it is so they go right in a better way nobody expected. have some faith.

There is another choice. Do something else that would be a better use of funds.

For example, the War with Iraq was a huge mistake. We now must fix that by leaving Iraq. I think the same is true for the blimp project if we don't make it to Boston.

How many times does this need to be said...If Ron Paul does not win in either Iowa or NH...the campaign is basically dead.
