What does your meetup group do now?

We're canvassing in neighboring Oregon counties, as well as organizing for the convention.

We discuss and enact other ways to inform the masses.

We are having a guest speaker on Tuesday who will talk about the Constitution, Ron Paul, and show a video on the NAU.

Last weekend we had Hagan Smith, the chairman of the PA Constitution Party come and talk.

I am trying to decide on a very powerful, to the point DVD or DVD compilation that will wake people up.

Get the donor lists from the campaign or other donation sites and recruit more paulites to the local GOP. If you do some canvassinng, make sure you ask if they voted for Paul and build your contact list. Just getting the donors, meetup attendees , and some voters that you probably already know of would be a formidable voting block in local party politics and elections.

Our meetup has organized and is launching the Tennessee Liberty Alliance. Se've had one meeting and already have some groups working on some organizational structure, such as Bylaws, Mission and Vision statements. We will focus on local and state issues/candidates that support the RP platform. Changing from within.

What your Meetup should do now.

Im from Texas, so my meetup group's active involvement with the upcoming primary is about to shift gears. To what?

What do you guys do now at your meetups?

Do we continue an educational campaign? Discuss current events? I don't want to see my active meetup group disperse. But we need a newer focus and some good advice from you guys.

Your Meetup, as well as all other Ron Paul Meetups, should focus on post: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=118851 and get it done.

In addition, network with all other Ron Paul Meetup groups within your county to insure all Republican Party precinct committee seat are filled by Ron Paul supporters.

Secondly, joint your local chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus. If one has not been created, start one within your local Republican Party.

Do these things and the R3volution will continue.

Long live the R3volution!

Gaining voting status?

Here in orlando our meetup group is entering local politics. We will be attending regular county republican committee meetings to gain voting status and influence the platform.

I could be wrong, but in Orlando the way you gain "voting status" is by placing your name on the ballot as an precinct (executive) committeeman or woman for your jurisdiction. Work you precincts, make contacts with as many Ron Paul supporters within your jurisdiction as possible, and, hopefully, win your seat on your county Republican Party executive committee in the November elections.

Your meetup group at this time should be making contact with as many other RP meetups groups within your county as possible to gain as many seats on your local Republican Party's executive committee so as to nominate and elect your next party chair as a Ron Paul supporter after the election and during your party organizational meeting.

In addition, your county must also elect two (one male and one female) State Represenatives to your State Republican Party, as does every county in Florida. Make sure through your networking with your other RP meetups groups in Orlando, that these are also Ron Paul suppoters.
