Is anyone else getting their hopes up now?

I think they have helped free speech some what. I think the left is still trying to repress it. I don't consent or comply to or with evil.

I went to a few of the NC rally’s. Was in charlotte, Wilmington, and kinston. All 3 times I came away believing I was in the party of American patriots. These are the people who care about the US. They hate corruption. They hate the open borders and the weirdosexual agenda. They want lower taxes and smaller government.

Are they libertarians? No, but libertarians don’t have a monopoly on patriotism.

While the politicians of the left and right are riddled with bad people, the people who are for liberty are mostly in the Republican Party.

I felt like this isn’t the party of John McCain and Lindsey Grahm, and Trump represents a move away from the old way. The people who came out appears to be excited because Trump is not establishment. And despite PAF’s incessant statements to the contrary, the people who I met at the rallies are very much in tune with all things politics. These are veterans, business owners, working people. They aren’t sheep. The optimism is real and based on seeing Trump for who is is and has been for decades. I believe more than ever that he is actually America first. The liberty movement didn’t die- it just moved to the GOP where there are numbers and influence.

Maybe I should scream even louder how much I hate the federal government and that I no longer vote, perhaps Trump will hear my voice and know that there are others like me, and in order to "Rebuild Trust" and faith in government he'll do some of things that I want done. One of those being, don't turn this country into a Technocratic Society run by the Billionaire's Club, which is on course to being under this administration. Even if others can't see it right in front of their eyes.

How's that for "participating" and "getting my hopes up".

You're a prisoner like the rest of us. You can either 1) pay the sacrifice to break out, 2) whine silently and/or loudly and suffer, 3) follow the rules of the system to try to suffer a tiny bit less.

All are valid options. You've gone with option 2. Others have gone with option 3.

Option 3 tightens the noose a little slower so that I can really feel it around my neck. Now what?

I have never considered myself "MAGA" (still don't) and my leanings toward Trump are very much more about being contrarian to what the mainstream and establishment have told us how we should think about him. But, this is good to hear from a real source. I really don't know many MAGA people... Maybe that'll change.

Well, since you brought my name up again, I'll respond.

The difference is, statist republicans want "solutions" that promote the police-state and cost tons of money. They refuse to understand/acknowledge the actual root cause of the problems, and they reject the zero-cost solutions which yields the most liberty. Take your stoopid border example, for example. I want no part of your or MAGA/USA USA/Republican "solutions". Because, once again, they're stoopid. It's like talking to a GD brick wall.

Well then, option 1 is available to you.

But you can hardly judge us for going with option 3 if it loosens the noose around our necks. If that happens to tighten the noose around your neck, well, tough titties, you're blaming the wrong person.

I mentioned earlier that I wanted the A/C turned on in my cell block because its 100 degrees in here. Let's say that A/C comes out of our (very) meager paycheck that they allow us. Of course, this decision applies to the entire cell block, which includes you. If you don't want the A/C on, and I do want the A/C on, am I "stealing" your money if I ask the warden to turn on the A/C for our cell block?

The part that you are forgetting about is what you are intimately self-embracing and aware of: I can be very just as selfish and not care about other people, just like you :cool:

So now, sir, we are at an impasse. Not that it matters to John and Suzie Q Public :tears:

It is a nationalistic democracy, after all.
