You're really a terrible advocate for Johnson. Hope the moderators let you stay for awhile.

Ron Paul wants the states to decide issues like flag burning and abortion. Always has, always will. Did he file any bills for a federal ban on flag burning? No.

Most here also support secure borders. Johnson's position on this is another reason why he bombed so badly in the GOP primary and why he's now spinning his tires in the Libertarian party on his way to a 0.6% or whatever showing in November.

I am anti-abortion, but I don't think we can solve our problems by fighting over it. We need to grow up as a society before we can ban it. The fetus IS a human, but it is also a human 100% reliant on another person who is burdened with its care. There is no good answer. To save one life, you must shackle another.

I have a friend who had an abortion because the baby had Down's. They only ever wanted one baby, so they tried again and had a beautiful healthy girl. If they hadn't aborted one, the other wouldn't be alive. One can also say that what makes us who we are is our thought and memory. A fetus doesn't have that yet. Human, but not sentient. Devil's advoctate.

As for the flag burning thing, it DOESN'T MATTER. The Constitution protects freedom of speech. Buring a flag is specifically that. And even if you say it is political action are you saying that the states should be able to ban you from damaging something you bought at the store? I can buy a bottle of champagne and break it over the bow of a ship. Is he going to make an amendment for that? Does he believe in property rights or NOT?

Polls of third party candidates are always grossly inflated. People desire to vote for them, but never actually do so. The Libertarian party's high-water mark in presidential elections is 1.1%, and that was over thirty years ago in 1980. Johnson won't tie or beat that, most likely.
