i am not arguing that, but in context in that paragraph are the 3 points which i am not arguing ,then he listed the 3 points if they were written in stone then he would of told us the amount of buses instead of some and he would of given us direct links to the media calling him a solid front runner and he would of had a firm $$ figure on costs of buses!! this is what i am saying bottom line is indy took my comment of nothing is written in stone and applied it to the out of context of the paragraph. i agree the 3 points he mentioned was i can say with absolute certainty three things which is correct,but then the 3 things are explained in vague terms! you see what i am saying. this is where indy took my commment and applied it out of context to the ops paragraph which indy took out of context, i agree the 3 things listed are certain but as he list the 3 things,none of the 3 things are written in stone!! until we get numbers on the buses and costs and media saying ron paul is a front runner!

i think that covers it!! bottom line is indy knows he took me out of context and especially the op, applying my statement to 3 words in one paragraph(taken out of context by indy) of the ops!! since the op meant the list is what he was saying was in certain terms! then goes to explain in vague terms the 3 items!!

second bottom line is i was saying nothing was written in stone so yes i was implying that things could change!!

FYI: Spin has a lot of various meanings / ~1/2 way down the page:
  • spin - make up a story; "spin a yarn"
    cook up, fabricate, invent, manufacture, make up - make up something artificial or untrue.

So the real meaning (in this context) = untrue & I used the words "lies and deceit"

**People who "spin a little" usually are not wanting to be called liars.
Perhaps I was too harsh.
Josh clearly used the word "spin" while also mentioning issues of trust.

bottom line nothing the op said in general is written in stone!! if so please give me the total amount of buses and amount spent in his paragraph? you took my comment out of context to what the op was saying in his paragraph!! if his 3 points were written in stone as you say then give me amount of buses and amount spent!!! you are taking my generalized statement that nothing is written in stone on specifics of the ops post! Then you clearly twist his paragraph! I agree he list 3 things as certain but then list the 3 items in no uncertain terms! it is clear you took his use in his paragraph and then tried to imply his 3 words to my general statement in nothing is written in stone of his post!!

I must say, this has been very entertaining to read over the last couple days. You just never know what's going to happen next! They could make a TV drama series out of this! :p

Really though, I hope this gets settled soon and we can officially start to work toward something positive!

overnight shift i am watching the building stand! you know you took me out of context , i said i was wrong on the definition , but you clearly took me out of context and applied it out of context to a paragraph that you took out of context!! the paragraph in context if written in stone would of given you amount of buses and costs! which it did not because it was not written in stone except in listing the 3 items then being vague on the 3 items listed!

you took me out of context on me saying nothing is written in stone and i think i explained it enough to show you did that is the bottom line!!

The giant problem with all this is it would appear there might be THREE independently ran/funded busing projects: The official RP campaign, RPN's PAC and the RPForums PAC. Seems like it could cause a lot of confusion, inefficiency, and rancor. I hope we're not on track to lose Ames by 100 votes & gnash our teeth.

Maybe somebody could get the official campaign to at least tell us if they're considering a full investment in buses IF the RAF money bomb is generous enough.
 
Confusion and inefficiency seems to be in abundance already, let's hope the (legally allowed) communication gets much better.
Even if they cannot coordinate directly with the grass-roots, HQ can issue press releases with news stories about what they are doing.
 
The dialog here has blown this issue way out of proportion. What a mess.

that site is moving slower than mollasses.

as i said in this post we don't need a PAC to have a website with buses marked on it.

since i have had no direction re. departure locations, bus seat #s, cost, etc... i have been able to do nothing on the RPN site for a week.

if anybody has webspace to donate, a good list of departure locations, cost per passenger - i can get a site up and running in an afternoon, PAC or no PAC.

i'll throw a chip-in on it and will call it done -- Josh can you handle the chip in? -- i don't want the responsibility.

let me know! :)
