I am sorry but the information by Bergman is not correct. No Campaign staff has endorsed, approved or given a green light on what he is talking about.

Anything otherwise would be illegal, so if the point of your post was to do anything other than cover the official campaign's ass, you'll need to elaborate. I don't see that Craig claimed any of what you are denying.

Why are you interjecting here?

Sounded so good, too bad...

Note that Steve has not denied what Craig claims is happening, just that the official campaign doesn't "endorse", "approve" or "give a green light" to it, which Craig neither claimed nor encouraged us to expect anyway.

I think the official campaign might be more involved with winning the Ames straw poll than originally thought. I think thats fine. we need a plan we can ALL support. The official campaign running the show will bring unity.

In addition to opening a campaign headquarters, Paul has hired five Iowa staffers. They will be organizing the grass roots and developing a plan for the Aug. 13 Iowa GOP Straw Poll, which, he said, “means a whole lot.”

I know you've spent a lot of time on this rp08orbust, did you see these details?

1) Labix said:
  • The Campaign is going to commit "a significant portion" of the “Ready Ames Fire” money bomb directly to “Tickets and Buses”.
That is a direct quote which is easy to understand, IMO.

2) SteveBierfeldt, Vice President of Development for the Campaign for Liberty, said I am sorry but the information by Bergman is not correct.

  • No need to elaborate: The need is to stop vultures, scammers, mainstream operatives, and thieves from trying to tear the grass-roots apart for days on end.

I wasn't aware that I was out of line in doing so. Post #20 claims that post #1 contains false information, but only makes a vague denial of claims that were never even made in post #1. Don't you agree that some clarification is needed?

now i want nayjevin to ask 50 ??? now i am a flip flopper!!!

I just reread the op, what possibly could the campaign object to in what was written?

^^^
Perhaps it's a nice way to say the other guy is a liar? It seems very clear to me, but if I'm mistaken then I'll retract later.

The official campaign needs to let us know soon if they will have a plan for Ames or if they want the grassroots to run it. I read this in an article today. :In addition to opening a campaign headquarters, Paul has hired five Iowa staffers. They will be organizing the grass roots and developing a plan for the Aug. 13 Iowa GOP Straw Poll, which, he said, “means a whole lot.”

Lots of assumptions being made all the way from (paraphrased) "Steve must've meant that everything in that post was a lie" to (paraphrased) "Steve is just making sure the campaign is covered against election fraud charges".

I say let Craig and Steve give their side of the story (if they feel like they need to).
