UPDATE: Lawyers for Ron Paul Conference Call 9PMEST WILL be recorded and posted #inside

If you want proof, then wait for the case to go forward. If there is proof, that is when we will see it.

And I agree, this is the only hope we have of winning. I am 100% behind this movement. I don't know about all these tweets (some of them are really strange) but what is our other alternative?

Because I suppose that some don't want to throw out the baby with the bathwater. Richard is approaching this as a do or die. Like the liberty movement ends with this convention. Some of us do not believe that and are a bit concerned about a nutjob wrecking the progress we have made thus far.

That said, if he isn't a nutjob, I'm all for this and will just hope for the best.

That's where I think a lot of us split ways ... the bigger picture is not Rand Paul for me. I am ALL IN for Ron Paul ... No1butPaul

I don't really know how the liberty movement will be going forward. I know we wont be giving up, but the RNC is going to change the rules to try and shut us out more and more. I think this really is do or die.

There are others running for office now and others still who will be running in the future, other than Rand Paul.

The liberty movement does not end with this election.

It definitely doesn't end. There is no question about that. But you have to admit, it will get a LOT harder going forward. They will be better prepared for us next time, and we will no longer have Ron Paul to rally around.

So, this guy doesn't come off as a liar? He's either crazy or he's being truthful?

I'm not an attorney, so I'm not a good judge of that, with regard to the case. He does seem to know a lot. I'm just going to hope for the best.

He seems sincere.

Let's hope this is just a case of "in order to exercise your rights, you must be a belligerent claimant".

Nonetheless, I'll judge his effectiveness by what he does in the courtroom and overlook whatever oddities in personality. I can relate to what ClydeCoulter said above about knowing things and having to use discretion with that. It's probably the most frustrating feeling I've ever dealt with myself and I'm also prone to get agitated by false assumptions that go against that knowledge.

Ron Paul isn't going to leave us. He will still be involved. But, yeah, they will be more ready for us. Which is why it is MANDATORY that we get in positions of leadership in the GOP, so they CANNOT. If we don't, then you are right, we will be screwed.

Of course it doesn't end ... I'm not implying that. However, there is only one Ron Paul and the revolution is now. I am not content to say, maybe in 4 years we'll have a shot and I trust the RNC to "pick" Rand Paul ... cuz, let's face it, they have been picking the nominees. Or, how bout waiting 8 years if Romney is elected? Then IF they pick Rand, he can go against Hillary and lose. I'm so happy this guy is prepared to give it everything he can. I am grateful to him.

Add: I am relishing the picture of prince reibus cowering under his desk.

Is that our Whistling Dave???

Yep, that was me...

So I'm still confused. If this lawsuit succeeds and all delegates are unbound, does that mean it doesn't matter if RP has 5 states' plurality to get his name "on the ballot" because any delegate can simply write in Ron Paul and the rules for nominating don't matter? Does anybody know? I think that's what they're saying, just still unsure.

Uh, this isn't all about winning the presidency, you realize, right? Even if we were able to even get Ron Paul in there, he couldn't turn on this crap around all by himself. We have to get liberty candidates in office EVERYWHERE. We even have a number of other liberty candidates running RIGHT NOW.

Yes, this is about winning the presidency AND getting liberty candidates in office EVERYWHERE.

Like sailingaway has been saying, what we want is an unedited speach by Ron Paul at the convention, that is how his chance to win the nomination happens.

Wasn't he saying that if we are successful with a court order, then we speak to other candidates (e.g., Gingrich, Palin) to deny Romney 1144 (or whatever the number)?

He basically answered earlier. If all delegates are unbound, which was the reason for wanting a brokered convention, then no candidate has any delegates so anyone can be on the ballot, including you Dave
