I kind of assume that any politician that they allow to do well has some kind of skeleton in their closet that they can bring out at any time in order to keep them in control. If he did, they've known the whole time and were just waiting to release it if needed, or maybe that was the plan all along.

I don't think it is out of character for him.. and it finally explains what happened to his wife.

What happened to Cruz's wife? And I have a hard time believing more than one woman would be willing to have sexual relations with some as creepy as Teddy.... Then again weirder things have happened..

Things getting interesting. But it does make sense that the GOP/RNC plans a scorched earth campaign against both Cruz and Trump so that come Cleveland, people will be begging for anyone... as long as it's not Trump or Cruz. In steps the GOP savior (Mittens, Ryan, Kasich, Bush, whoever).

Either that, or they're trying to get Trump enough delegates to avoid a brokered convention, so he can get on with his job of losing to Clinton without delay. And distract the public from us, so they don't hear us pointing out that they can vote FOR the Libertarian instead of voting against one of these assholes.

National Enquirer has some of the best journalists in the country. Broke the Gary Hart story. Were the ones who found the picture of OJ in wearing those "ugly ass" shoes. Broke the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal. Broke Jesse Jackson love child story. Broke the Rush Limbaugh oxycontin story.

At the very least, the story is true enough that the National Enquirer's lawyers are positive that Ted has no grounds to sue.

They've done sex scandal stories many times in the past and been right. They always do it bit by bit - sort of like wiki - leaks. drip. drip.

It's neither love for the establishment, nor sarcasm. But if the establishment can prove useful in keeping Trump out of the WH, more power to them. Trump is the bigger enemy.
