TX - 21 Dead, Dozens Injured in Texas Elementary School Shooting

Read John 17.

Okay.

John 17 said:

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

That, my friend, is above my pay grade.

An actor awaits cues and delivers lines in response. But a good actor makes it seem he's listening and reacting to what is said, not just spewing a line when cued.

Sometimes you seem to deliver your lines to the wrong cue. Conversations require as much from our ears as our mouths.

If you believe, you participate in that very power. The power of God, full-stop.

Thanks for the feedback, it is duly considered. If I'm guilty of zeal, so be it. If I'm in error, point it out. Otherwise, I know what my mission is.

Humility, especially in these matters, is of the utmost importance. But the purpose of humility is to be unified with God, John 17:21. The concept of "above your pay-grade" is useful for the devil, just keep that in mind.

Knock it off...

Words fail to describe how proud I am of this mom.

I had already posted her story elsewhere IIRC.

If she has legal trouble over this, I would happily contribute to her defense.

The two issues are apples and bowling balls and you know it.

Like I said, they're trollin' y'all. Come on, you don't see the obvious allegory here? She escaped "swine custody" (bad third world conditions), hopped a "fence" (border), broke into a government school (replacement agenda immigrants getting their kids into public schools), and got her kids out to safety (US nanny state). It's allegory for illegal immigration and has nothing specific to do with "her and her kids", per se. All the things you and Swordy and others have moaned about for years, tied into a cute little heroic story that's too fantastical to be even remotely true.

Symbolism is not necessarily trolling. And the symbolic significance of this woman's primal act of defense of her children is the dominant symbolism in this news story (defense of the innocents as against the Left's push to slaughter them en masse in their abortion clinics and in every other way they can), making everything else you're pointing out quite unimportant. Don't be sophomoric just because you understand one thing...

Donald calls for further prisonization of schools, including "new technology". It wouldn't just so happen to be biometric identification for all who enter the schools, kids included, would it Don? Naaaa, that's crazy talk.

“Every building should have a single point of entry. There should be strong exterior fencing, metal detectors, and the use of new technology to make sure no unauthorized individual can ever enter the school with a weapon,” he said.

That's one part of how I know this is a staged sham. They always manufacture a narrative which gives cover for further police state measures that would otherwise be questioned and opposed. The measures are cued up and ready to go, just need to manufacture consent to it.

Do you have a better idea? Given that the Left is summoning darkness and willing to blatantly sacrifice children on the altar of political power, we probably better do something to shore up our defenses, especially where you have gatherings of a lot of kids, which are always a primary target for the deranged.

Feel free to share your alternative solutions here.

Yes actually. I do. I have a cousin who is a retired school principal. She got deputized, armed and trained. And she's a democrat. She also hired veterans as staff and tutors and had them on her security team. One of her team would make sure all the doors were secure throughout the day. There was only one way in the school and he would make sure he met whoever was coming in. There were other fire exits of course. Basically she and her team took security seriously. Trump once talked about "arming teachers" but he didn't explain the idea well or bring forward any examples where it had been done. It's not "arming teachers" wily nilly. It's finding people, multiple people that are capable and willing to take on multiple roles. And reward them for those multiple roles. Say, for example, a school has one "resource officer" that makes $50,000 per year. If you split that money 5 ways you could give 5 bonuses of $10,000 a piece to teachers willing to go through shooter response training, give them a weapon and body armor. Rather than wait for the cops to show up and get up the courage to come inside, have people capable of defending the children already on the inside.

Did you listen to Trump's NRA speech. Because that's almost a word-for-word description of what he said in that speech. I think different localities will have different solutions, but as long as we have this insane PSYOP darkness emanating from the Clown World Left, we have no choice but to increase the minimum standards enough to make sure their trained attack-dogs can't make it through the doors. The problem is not that the locals are unwilling or incompetent, but that they underestimate just how sinister the darkness emanating from DC really is, and just how relevant that threat is to their "out of the way" community...

I did not. But one or two good ideas doesn't negate the bad ones. Red flag laws? Trump. Renewed assault weapons ban? Trump and Trump. Gun control by executive order? Trump. And now pimping the biometric police state as an "anti violence" method? Really? This, of course, is why Trump makes a horrible standard bearer for liberty. He's not a "throw it against the way and see if it sticks" guy. He's a "throw it against the wall and see if I can get away with it" guy.

Anyhow, you asked for an idea and I gave you one. If Trump already had that idea then he should have just stuck to it and not come forward with all of these anti liberty ideas. Which ones do you think the Democrats will gravitate to and actually pass?

Trump banned bump stocks which are possibly the most useless and moronic accessory you can put on a weapon. That's called "throwing a bone". That's how you make the opposition shut up. "Yeah, we did the thing. Now pony up your side of the bargain." It's called muck-raking for a reason. I find it hilarious that the worst insults the anti-Trump LP-heads can throw at trump is "he banned bump stocks." If that's the worst crime that Trump can commit against my liberty, I'LL TAKE IT...

Cherry pick much? Here's what you are ignoring.

1) By doing this by executive order, he didn't throw the opposition a "bone." He through them a weapon. Gun control by executive order. So no. Anyone who "takes that" as a good thing is just not thinking.

2) The red flag laws are horrible.

3) Assault weapons bans, that he's supported TWICE, are horrible.

4) Biometric scanning for "safe schools" is horrible.

Instead of all this crap he could actually focus on a real solution.

Reason to Home School #79391

Seriously, I know a lot of people can't, their circumstances just do not permit it.

But I know many more who could, but just don't want to to, for whatever reasons.

Remove thine head from thine ass and want to.

Your child's life and mental health, on so many levels, depends on it.

Wow, your level of Trump shilling as reached an all time high. NEVER given them any ground. What part of shall not be infringed do you not understand? Stop giving a shit what the opposition says and stand your ground.

We do not need another 4 years of a weak kneed President that cries on Twitter in pathetic desperation of seeking approval from his opposition while conceding our rights in the process so he can feel good about himself.

Trump shills like you that want a candidate that reaches across the isle on every issue are part of the problem. Your enemy does not concede anything. They hate you and want you dead. But you are willing to concede to them. A time proven pathetic strategy.

Trump did not invent EOs on guns: President Obama’s 2015 Executive Actions on Gun Control

I agree with the substance of what you're saying but, unless you're just politically naive, you know as well as I do that that's not how politics works. Politics is about saying all kinds of crap, and then doing what you actually care about. What were the actual outcomes of Trump's policies and presidency? Once again (in case you're not aware), I'm not a Trump-head. But all of the bitching and moaning I've heard about Trump from LP types has consistently turned out to be false or, at least, exaggerated.

Banning bump stocks in order to swing some other substantial political move would be a good deal. I'm not saying that's what happened (I don't know), but I'm completely sure that Trump doesn't personally give a damn about banning bump stocks. The man just spoke at the NRA national convention two days after a school shooting that, according to the Swamp Calculus, "ought to have been canceled". Explain to me again how Trump is a secret anti-gunner???

Sheesh.

And as for shilling, please, I put food on my table from my day job that has nothing to do with politics. Saying a word in defense of facts doesn't make me a Trump-shill. I'm the furthest thing from that. I have been a reluctant and grudging convert based on the actual outcomes of Trump's presidency. Trump brought troops home, did not expand US foreign aggression (no new wars) and didn't get carried away with the printing press. That's not a resounding Ron Paul level of success, but by comparison to the Swamp Specials the GOP has been serving up for my entire adult life (going back to Reagan), his presidency was a damn home-run. Nobody hates Trump more than the Republican Swamp. That's the single most important reason why I continue to follow him with interest.

Can we expect more? Of course? Should we demand more? Yes! But a start is a start, and calling it something else is just dishonest.

We do not need another 4 years

Who said anything about four more years? Who's the shill here?

of a weak kneed President that cries on Twitter in pathetic desperation of seeking approval from his opposition while conceding our rights in the process so he can feel good about himself.

Well, since I'm going to be accused of shilling no matter what...

Yeah, I'll concede bump stocks all day long in exchange for, say, getting Constitutional Carry passed at the state level across the nation. Banning bump stocks is like banning those shoes with roller skates built in.... it's an idiotic and unsafe product anyway.
