This is a losing and divisive issue. I don't really care either way what a candidate says about this. Personally I think one should use the bathroom that matches whatever their body currently is. From a practical standpoint, stalls have doors and without penis you can't use a urinal, so who cares.

It's kind of funny that the bathroom bandits want to legislate this, but could have a gay dude looking at their junk and never know.

Transgender bathroom rights can't even win in Houston, a very liberal city. I highly doubt that it has majority support among Republicans anywhere.

My perspective on Ron Paul has been changing most recently, this is an interview I had never heard before, as a libertarian Christian I was not impressed with his answer at all, in fact I don't think I have ever been more disappointed with any answer he has ever given. Especially when questioned if the bible calls it a sin. See Trump is a heathen so I don't expect much from him, my expectation of his moral code is very low, but he seems to be more moral than lyin Ted.

As to the topic if the male has fully transformed and looks like a female to the point that it alarms nobody because they can't tell, no worries.
But if it is a 1/2 transitioned person like I saw the other day, they look scary, if a little girl is in a public washroom they should not have to encounter that.

NC HB2 simply 1) allows private parties to do whatever they want with their own bathrooms, and 2) only adds a "biological men must use the men's room" onto State Property ONLY, like schools and courts. The only area over which they legitimately hold such authority, even if exercising it in this manner is largely unwise.

I was not in favor of HB2 because I do not believe that grown adults need a law talking about where you can use the bathroom, but the Charlotte ordinance it reversed was even worse, because it forced Charlotte McDonald's by force of law against their will to allow men to use women's rooms on their own private property.

All y'all know me and you know that I am no fan of stupid bills, and I hate hate hate this obsession the GOP has (particularly in NC) with gay sex. But this bill, HB2 is not even remotely like the propaganda the left has been spreading. Trump appears to be working from the left's heavily falsified talking points when discussing this subject.

Why am I not even the least bit surprised I wonder?
