It will hurt with the unbound delegates in California and most of the delegates are unbound at the California Convention.
Are Republican delegates really that stupid?

The GOP lobbies to State legislatures for gerrymandering as they did in the 2000 Presidential election in the State of Florida. It's then a done deal and it is legal as it is authorized in the Constitution. We are a republic!

3 delegates from CA are unbound. The rest are WTA by state and by CD, bound for 2 ballots unless their candidate gets <10% of the RNC vote on the first ballot.

Most State legislatures from the 2014 elections are conservative. All of them award their electors to Ted Cruz.
I can't see the booger-eater winning under any conditions. I'd prefer him to Shrillary, but I just don't see it happening. Can't even imagine him getting nominated. I guess that anything is possible, though.
Hypothetically it could happen and with how bizarre this election has been, I won't rule it out.
If neither the libertarian nor republicans are beating the Democrats on the Electoral Map in polls then what I mentioned should be done as a backup. We cannot have Hillary as President and that is what we all agree on.
I know that. You know that. But if the GOPe succeeds in its goal of nominating a Paul Ryan, then Hillary Clinton is exactly the person who the election is gonna get thrown to (unless the shadow-government then has her indicted for the sole purpose of saving the GOPe). Then again, even Bernie Sanders may manage to beat a Paul Ryan, in that scenario.
The only saving grace to all of this is that it looks like the GOPe is going down - no matter what.
