Trump takes the bait? How will Paul respond?

I have a novel take on what is going on here and I just want to let all of the Trump people and those worried about Rand taking this approach as to why this is a risky, albeit necessary move.

The primary issue that people have with Rand is that, if you'll pardon the expression, they think he's a complete wimp. As much as I utterly detest Frank Luntz, those idiots in his focus group talking about boots on the ground in Iraq are the average, rank and file GOP voter. They like Rand on economics, but they literally think he has no balls at all. Trump's appeal is little more than the old cliche that every woman loves the alpha male , and every man admires the alpha male. Trump has appeal because he is oozing massive amounts of testosterone, all of this crap about immigration, building a wall, and all that other nonsense is incidental, even and including the case of Ann Coulter, who seems to have actually discovered her womanhood over Trump's ascendancy.

Now, likewise consider that everybody unwilling to take on Trump in that debate also looked like wimps, particularly Sgt. Stutter (Bush). Trump isn't going down in the polls because nobody has the testicular fortitude to stand nose to nose with the guy, Lindsey Graham is a closeted drag-queen that everybody laughs at save John McCain and a few Democrats that he pals around with, and Rick Perry is a cross between a dunce-cap toting fool and the court jester, aka the guy no one will take seriously. None of these people have the credibility to be effectual in hitting Trump and come off as male feminists while doing so, and the rest are largely laying low like good little beta males hoping that the alpha stumbles so they can pick up his crumbs.

In light of all this, Rand has the opportunity to become the alpha by taking down Trump, and if he does so, the rest of the pack will be forced to come after him and all eyes will be on him. The biggest risk is that if Rand succeeds early, he may peak too soon, but eventually somebody has to put an end to this nonsense, and given the blackout going on against Rand, it's a risk worth taking.

To everybody else, the pro-Trump people like jj and AuH20 are not criticizing Rand because he's actually flipping on anything, they are criticizing Rand because he's not spewing liquid testosterone out of his mouth like Trump has. This whole "build a wall and make Mexico pay for it" and "no more immigration period" thing requires ZERO thought, but it does require balls. These 2 and the others will fall in line if Paul demonstrates that he has both balls and brains, the latter department Trump has in a noticeable deficit, provided he is successful of course.

Aside from responding back to other's posts. I must say HELL YEAH Rand!! People are so worried as to where Trumps supporters will go, but I honestly do not see a natural fit for any of them. I know many are scared to death they're going to Cruz, but for some reason I simply can't see Trump supporters going to a pastor wanna be. No disrespect to the men of the cloth there at all, just that Ted Cruz would pander to Satan himself if he thought that would win him the presidency. Lets see, who else would be a natural fit for Trumps supporters?? Huckabee? Nope.. Bush? Don't see that either. Carson? While he may be viewed as anti establishment, he lacks the rhetoric and policy choices Trump is advocating. So lets see, Christie? Well, he does have a big mouth, but compared to Trump he's as dry as water in the desert. I honestly do not see much of a natural fit for Trumps supporters to go to. I think it'll almost be back to the drawing board of sorts. And once things settle back down and they finally clear their heads I think they're going to come to realize that Rand is the candidate their looking for who is the true real deal anti establishment candidate. Sure you might have some hardcore ones as you do with all supporters of candidates who'll never support the guy that attacked their hero, but as we know with any flavor of the month candidate those people are like ships being tossed to and fro in the middle of the ocean in a hurricane. The fact that Rand is attacking now rather than December gives him plenty enough time to win over their support, while hopefully calling all of Ron's old supporters back home. If Rand can do this, they might as well go ahead and hand him the keys baby!

And just to add, this is for those that think this is a bad move. Just what's wrong with Rand wanting to have an open and honest debate on actual policy and positions on all the issues? Trump has apparently been awarded the anti establishment vote getter simply for having a big mouth when these people like Rand is trying to point out, know nothing about what the man supports policy wise, other than he's going to make them damn Mexicans build a wall and hey he's a good negotiator.. Rand is making a smart move by initiating this fight now, rather than later. Just in case he does take down their hero he's giving them plenty of time to get over their butt hurt and come back around to him once they get focused on policies and positions to realize just who the real deal is. On top of that, if Rand is indeed successful in taking Trump down, he'll be heralded by traditional republicans even those at red state for taking down their enemy which goes a long way in softening their own feelings toward him. For that crowd it used to be anybody, but Paul.. However now I really think if Paul can put a dent in Trump's armor, Rand will no longer be "the guy" that most traditional republicans look toward and say anyone but him. He'll have elevated himself and downgraded Trump to be that guy. Trump's brash personality will make Rand look more acceptable. God, I'll be praying this works, there is so many upsides to this it's not even funny. Rand just has to keep hitting on the policies and not stoop to Trump's level of name calling which again makes Rand look more presidential and will even give him the perception of being "tough" as being the only guy who stood up to Trump. And if he can stand up to Trump, then who the hell is Putin?
