Well then, you disagree with Paul. I don't have time to pull you all the information right now, but his problem with the trade deals was the sovereignty issues and the multi-lateral agreements. He always advocated for removing our barriers to trade regardless of what other countries may do. He understood that there are two sides to a trade.If that is what he wanted, I totally disagree with him. Totally. But, I don't believe that is what he wanted. He knew that U.S. companies could not compete with all the regulations in place.

While I agree with his position from a moral and economic standpoint, I think the removing of our barriers can be used as leverage for our trading partners to do the same. We should do it regardless, but the action of removing them can provide additional benefits if performed with an eye to the larger global implications.
