Trump claims Fulton County DA Willis had an affair with the head of gang

1. That he won the 2016 and 2020 elections by a landslide.
2. That he won the 2020 election.
3. That Article II of the Constitution allowed him as President to do whatever he wanted.
4. That there was massive fraud in the 2020 election that enabled Biden to be declared the winner.

That's just for starters. Of course, I don't expect any of the Trump lemmings to agree; they live in a different universe in which anything Trump says is to be taken as Gospel.

Re Trump's claim about the Atlanta DA: I suspect there'll be another defamation suit he will have to defend.

Lol, did you count all the votes??? How the fuck do you know 1, 2 and 4 were a lie? In my opinion, he did win those all in a landslide, if you got rid of all the cheating, which was never looked into.

What did Trump do that went against the Constitution that other Presidents haven't done before? Give me an example that doesn't include the bump stock ban.

Trump's only defense during the civil trial wasn't any better. Then he defames the plaintiff immediately after losing because he put on no defense, and Trump loses more money doing that.

Trump just did something very similar. That may in fact be his only defense.

How else do you defend yourself from something that never happened?

As far as hiring better lawyers.. lol.. anybody associated with Trump ends up being prosecuted. They are about to do that now with several of his legal advisors on the issue of the alternate electors. Have you asked any of these great election attorney's you speak of if they were willing to risk their career and fortunes defending him?

I would say some of the posts of Trump in the last week are bordering on criminal - like threatening anyone who comes after me I will come after them.

The difference is, the people he is going after are actually criminals. That means he can go through the legal system, with actual credible legal arguments.. as opposed to the ones they are making up to go after him.

You use "massive", which is a standard weasel word used when discussing election cheating.

I used the word because it's what Trump said.

“So, with the revelation of MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION in working closely with Big Tech Companies, the DNC, & the Democrat Party, do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, the Twitter alternative that he founded.

“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” he added.

I'm no Trump fan boy, not even a little, well, maybe a little but very little.

But saying you won an election, or that there was fraud, I mean really, who GAF.

It goes without saying that Pelosi and Hillary have never been averse to lying, and it's clear that Nixon was as deluded about the extent of his presidential power as Trump was. But neither of these facts lessens the extent of Trump's mendacity.

Putting Trump on the level of Hillary, Pelosi, and Nixon isn't the win that you think it is.

Lets never forget this gem how Hillary claimed Trump stole the election from her.

I have no idea if its a win or that I thought it was a "win", other than taking the position that people say stuff, right or wrong.

To be honest, I dont even know what we're talking about.

Are we talking about people being held criminally liable for speaking?

You seem to be talking about that, yes.

As are other people for whom it is convenient to pretend that Trump has been indicted for speaking.

Trump isn't being indicted for things that he said, about the election?

At 3:40 the Judge says that Trump was charged with "conspiracy", what the Judge refers to as a thought crime, which the government loves to do because gov doesnt have to show harm.

Let's also not forget that she didn't browbeat a state official to "find" votes for her; have supporters with no official standing claim to be electors; or pressure Vice President Biden to throw out certified electoral votes on the grounds of fraud so she could be elected.

Edit: It's not so much that both Hillary and Trump claimed an election was stole as much as what each of them did (or attempted to do) about it. That's why it's apples and oranges.

There are many crimes that don't involve actual harm, such as attempts. For example, if someone who wants to kill you plants a bomb in your car that's set to explode when you turn the ignition on but the bomb malfunctions and doesn't go off, he can be convicted of attempted murder. But under a no-harm-no-foul standard, he walks, right?

Similarly, conspiracy involves more than mere thought. There must also be one or more overt acts in furtherance of the conspiracy.

Right she just made a fake dossier. No harm, no foul.
