Trump asking allies about possibility of Nikki Haley for vice president

The daughter-in-law hardly seems anonymous, does she? One could hardly call her someone with no source of credible information, either, if one wanted to be credible themselves.

One could hardly say with any honesty that she gave any information.
She refused to commit.

This is fake news. Anonymous sources, zero credibility.

Trump won't dive into that swill barrel for VP.
------------
During a speech in Michigan on Wednesday night, Trump dismissed the GOP contenders, who were gathered in California for the second Republican primary debate, as “all job candidates.”

“They’ll do anything: secretary of something, they even say VP. Has anyone seen a VP in that group? I don’t think so,” Trump told the crowd at an auto parts plant in Clinton Township.

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung on Thursday did not directly say whether the former president is definitively ruling out all seven contenders from the debate, telling The Washington Post in an email only that Trump “was very clear in his remarks.”

But his idiot daughter in law not committing to anything totally proves it.

Great thread, because it brings attention to Trumps history of terrible selections

We deserve better.

Because the overwhelming majority of Americans are decent people getting preyed upon

Decent people, who have access to all the tools and information needed to not be preyed upon, do not allow themselves to be preyed upon.

The best explanation I have so far is that this is counter-intelligence leak-testing, meaning, intentionally pretending to entertain her as a VP pick in front of selected individuals close to him in order to leak-test them. It's common practice at that level.

But if it's real, then I'm done making excuses for him. He has had nearly 8 years to "learn the ropes" and if that's not enough time, then no amount of time will be.

Time will tell...

Could be. My first inclination is to not take the MSM reporting as factual. Time will indeed tell.

As if he didn't have to pick people the Senate would confirm who would do the least damage and who he could use in some way.

Don Jr. to Newsmax: No Way I'll Let Nikki Be VP

Responding to a clip of Haley on "Eric Bolling The Balance," Trump Jr. says, "I wouldn't have her."

"I would go to great lengths to make sure that that doesn't happen," he adds. "Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars. She's a puppet of the establishment in Washington, D.C. She's the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class — no different than academia and Harvard."
