It wasn't what it seemed. And if the COGOP has the cojones to follow up on their threat and go back to a caucus, it'll turn out to be a good thing. A very good thing.
We told you this was going to happen before Pence, Bolton, Fauci, a whole nasty-assed cabinetful. I don't know what else to tell you. Will Rogers said there are three kinds of people: Those who can learn by reading, those who can learn by watching, and those who have to pee on the electric fence. I guess he never met anyone who pissed on another electric fence later. But they exist, especially when the propaganda gets ahold of them. There's millions of them.
"Oh, it wasn't the electric fence that damn near killed you. It was, um, lightning from a clear blue sky! Yeah, that's the ticket!"
You missed my point:
Are you sure it's going to happen? What if B4L is right? What if this is just more of that famous 'unnamed source' miscarriage-of-journalism intended to make Trump look bad? Could that not also be possible? Or are we still convinced that only deep state ploys to make Trump somehow look good are possible?
I mean, as soon as I clicked the link in the OP, I saw where it took me and immediately regretted it. You ripped everyone a new one when they jumped all over the Colorado ruling. But you fell right into this story (which is, in my opinion, at least, even less credible). What if the deep state is playing you? (not that you'd be the target, necessarily; they're probably more concerned with shaking off some of Trump's support and evening out the field enough so that someone like Haley might actually have a chance)
(having said that, it's not at all a bad idea to let Trump know that the base hates the idea, especially if someone like Tucker would bust Trump's balls for it)
Furthermore, as I recall it, things didn't work out too well for Pence's future, so if this is some half-baked idea to get Nikki Haley in the door:
