The best explanation I have so far is that this is counter-intelligence leak-testing, meaning, intentionally pretending to entertain her as a VP pick in front of selected individuals close to him in order to leak-test them. It's common practice at that level.

But if it's real, then I'm done making excuses for him. He has had nearly 8 years to "learn the ropes" and if that's not enough time, then no amount of time will be.

Time will tell...
 
id vote third party before id vote for any ticket with haley , harris or biden . Without anymore thought than that. If Trump won the VP could easily be tasked to serve , he is in terrible physical condition by looking at him

I never said anything about Trump not choosing Pence.
I wouldn't have said anything because Pence had not shown his true colors and Trump needed to horse trade to keep from having the nomination stolen at the convention.
Neither of those apply here.
