We're 14.5 hours into this thing. There's been $37k in donations. We aren't even on pace to raise $100k today.
Friend of Liberty,
Last night I saw something remarkable on the debate stage.
I saw one man stand up for the Bill of Rights. All of it.
I saw one man announce that if you want another war in Iraq, there are 14 other candidates to choose from, and there will always be another Bush or Clinton.
I saw one man stand up for the Tenth Amendment and a rational drug policy, taking on three drug warriors by himself.
It shouldn't surprise you that this one man is Dr. Rand Paul. I couldn't have been more proud of him last night. I hope you feel the same way.
And if you do, I hope you will join me in contributing to his Constitution Day MONEY BOMB today.
Whether it's defending your rights against drones, the Patriot Act, or indefinite detention, Rand stands up every time.
I urge you to stand with him today.
For Liberty,
Justin Amash
Why do people not think the lack of a ticker and the lack of promotion on the main page isn't a big deal? This just seems absolutely outrageous to me.

Wasn't one of the other grassroots groups proposing setting a goal of $10 million for this month's money bomb? Lol

Yes, precisely because there's no ticker and no advertising of the money bomb on the main page of his website. It would be entirely different if the ticker were up on the main page.
That's all speculation to say it's just because the ticker isn't on the front page when it would take all of two seconds to click on the 'Donate' button.
I think having a ticker drastically increases the likelihood of someone having an interest in donating. If that's not there, they're not liking to have an incentive to go to the donate page in the first place.
Think, not know. So again, we'll just see what happens. And suppose someone randomly does want to donate to the campaign, debate or not? They'd be clicking on the donate page.
I agree that it's weird to not have the ticker on the front page. I went to it this morning and thought oh, maybe I had the wrong day. Good thing I clcked donate, but it's weird to me that they wouldn't show it first thing.
If they're clicking on the donate page, they're going to be donating anyway. Having a ticker on the donate page does not attract more donors
You seem opposed to the idea of a ticker on the main page. Are you? And, if so, why?
