On Rand's twitter, he's linking to donate at https://cash.me/$RandPaul I wonder why he isnt linking to his direct website and if donations made there go towards the ticker? Also, I dont see it anywhere mentioned on his facebook page (perhaps im not looking at it correctly though, i dont use these social media things)

Yeah, bitcoin donations are the best. No processing fee for the campaign. And it was faster to do than using a credit card. I just wish the store took bitcoin.
Yeah, that must be a new thing they're trying to promote that goes through Square. Maybe they got a better rate.
They haven't posted about the money bomb on Facebook or Twitter yet, but they did just send out an email about an hour ago. I assume they'll post on social media later.
Would be nice if they do a push notification on the Rand app too.

Im sorry to say this but I think what a lot of you aren't willing to accept is that this is purposefully being done because they don't want to be embarrassed by such a low total.
Then makes no sense because Rand is promoting the money bomb on his Facebook and twitter pages.

It's a grassroots moneybomb. There are no expectations that the official campaign will modify the official website today. This was not planned with the official campaign, although they may have recently heard about it.
if i recall correctly, Ron's first moneybomb took a little while for the fuse to get going...
plus, its mid month. Keep pounding away.

That's not the way facebook works anymore. Not all of your friends or followers get to see what you post unless you pay. For 2 million that's thousands of dollars.
1) The campaign is involved when they're promoting it on Facebook and twitter.
2) The campaign has previously posted the ticker on the front page along with information that the money bomb is going on.
3) The campaign is involved when they have a ticker on the donation page.
So it's not the case at all that the campaign isn't involved, just that they inexplicably aren't advertising it on the main page and don't have the ticker on the main page. That's the page that people are going to come to who are searching the web and are interested in researching more and Rand. And these people who are visiting Rand's website will have absolutely no idea that there's a money bomb going on.

Exactly. So there's no actual money bomb going on today. There's not really any reason to donate today then. Donating any other day would be exactly the same.
Yes, precisely because there's no ticker and no advertising of the money bomb on the main page of his website. It would be entirely different if the ticker were up on the main page.
