Is it technically a donation to buy a t-shirt? If it's a purchase, I could use a friend's card with their permission and it would be legal.
It thanks you for your donation after checkout, fwiw

Yes, and bitcoin.
On Rand's twitter, he's linking to donate at https://cash.me/$RandPaul I wonder why he isnt linking to his direct website and if donations made there go towards the ticker? Also, I dont see it anywhere mentioned on his facebook page (perhaps im not looking at it correctly though, i dont use these social media things)
Seriously guys, it's a huge deal that the ticker is not on the main page. Think about how much traffic is not being targeted...those who are visiting randpaul.com after the debate last night. People outside of this forum and those close to it have no idea that this moneybomb is happening.
Im sorry to say this but I think what a lot of you aren't willing to accept is that this is purposefully being done because they don't want to be embarrassed by such a low total.

The Rand Campaign finally posted the MB on FB 30 minutes ago which reaches 2 million. We shall see if there is an uptick in donations this afternoon.
It's a grassroots moneybomb. There are no expectations that the official campaign will modify the official website today. This was not planned with the official campaign, although they may have recently heard about it.
1) The campaign is involved when they're promoting it on Facebook and twitter.
2) The campaign has previously posted the ticker on the front page along with information that the money bomb is going on.
3) The campaign is involved when they have a ticker on the donation page.
So it's not the case at all that the campaign isn't involved, just that they inexplicably aren't advertising it on the main page and don't have the ticker on the main page. That's the page that people are going to come to who are searching the web and are interested in researching more and Rand. And these people who are visiting Rand's website will have absolutely no idea that there's a money bomb going on.
it is just like any other day.
We're 14.5 hours into this thing. There's been $37k in donations. We aren't even on pace to raise $100k today.
