This is a move Russia said will mean that Russia is officially at war with NATO.

If this is true and actually comes to fruition, it means that Germany has once again started another world war.

Russia also has drones and drone counter-measures. Russia did an initial offensive in Ukraine to annex Donbass to counter Ukrainian terrorists operating on their border, then they withdrew and left maintenance operations to PMCs of varying levels of capability. Ukrainian propagandists have been trumpeting their every victory over some under-funded/under-equipped PMC -- who probably should not have been trying to compete out on that battlefield because they just aren't at that level -- as though they're literally marching on Moscow. It's 100% self-congratulatory hype, total nonsense. Russia has placed its little finger on Ukraine and they're gasping for breath, barely able to keep alive. Now, they've lashed out at Russia on an existential level. There is surely coming a grave response. I just hope that Russia hits the people responsible and doesn't drag those of us here in the US who hate this war, into it....

A million-strong drone-swarm being piloted by 1,000 remote operators using AI to control 1,000 drones each... is coming. That's assuming it isn't already here and we just don't know about it. Yeah, there are countermeasures but short of EMP (which will destroy your own electronics as well), there is no asymmetric counter-measure, that is, it will always cost more to eliminate drones than the cost of the drones themselves. This means (a) drones are inevitable and (b) the only completely effective counter-measure to a million drones, wiil be having a million of your own counter-drone drones...
