The Revolution needs you to vote for Obama

No. McCain would win again in 2012 because he will be sure we are at war and therefore the people won't vote him out of office. The same holds true of Obama in my opinion

Anything's possible, but I think the GOP is too fractured to be upset by McCain losing.

Maybe, but I doubt that Obama will fade into the background. Have you not noticed the throng? The people love an underdog (unless that underdog promotes scary things like Dr. Paul does).

I think the GOP would be more engaged in a propaganda campaign against Obama which would work in our favor. In fact I'm counting on the GOP attacking Obama which should be pretty easy actually. I'm also counting on the comedians of the world to humiliate Obama. You know Chappelle is praying for Obama to win so he can mock him to death. I know it's only comedy, but it has a measurable impact of public opinion, just ask George.

Here is a thought, turn off the tv and stop buying into the bullshit. Go out and do something actually productive instead of thinking like that talking box is making you do.

Are you going to quote statistics and polls next? lol

I think you are simply quoting what the news just told you today BUT trying to assume it as your own opinion. Pretty sad actually.

if you want to vote for obama THEN DO IT, that is what is great in America. You can vote for whatever piece of shit you want to.

Why not go over to that obama forum as well so you can be enveloped in change instead of people yelling at you here?

those who you can "convert" are already converted because sheep do what sheep do which it seems you know all too well.

This shows how desperate the Osama spies on RPF are now that McCain got Palin :p

Do you really think you can compare those candidates and those times to Obama and to now?

Show me a losing candidate that's been turned into a martyr and gained significant traction. And don't give me Gore. Nobody cared about Gore, they cared about "cheating".

Dude, there is no reason behind what you are advocating up there on your high horse. You are telling us to vote for the lesser of two evils instead of voting according to our principles.
You have failed to comprehend what I'm suggesting. I don't claim that Obama is the lesser of two evils and that concept has nothing to do with my idea. Reread my OP.

You try to justify it with wild speculation, yet you are perpetuating the very same way of thinking that got us into this mess. The two major parties are beyond redemption, the only sane thing to do is to vote against both. Third party numbers need to start climbing every election, that is way more vital then those petty tactical speculations.

Dr. Paul is a Republican. Isn't his premise that we should take over the GOP and return it to it's roots? McCain loses, the GOP collapses, we take it and rebuild it.

If my speculation is so "wild" why have so few people attempted to debate it in a reasonable way?

If my speculation is so "wild" why have so few people attempted to debate it in a reasonable way?

Because you are one of those people who just keep on beating the same old dead horse no matter how many reasonable arguments you hear to the contrary.

McCain is the best (worst) thing that can happen in this election, he will screw the country so hard that everybody will come to realization with the risks that a Big govt. comes with.

It is as simple as this

voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

Our dismal voter base in the revolution (currently) WILL NOT sway this election one way or another because if it did we would have done MUCH BETTER than what we accomplished "voter wise".

If you feel like voting for obama actually makes sense and for whatever reason is what is needed to make sure the republicans do not win this election cycle then great.

One thing to think about though is this..

The democratic AND republican parties are pretty much one in the same and NO MATTER WHICH ONE wins they STILL do not actually stand for the party in which they are supposedly backing.

The republican party even if they win this year IS NOT the true republican party in which we are wanting to rebuild and IF we actually get our acts together for the next election cycle could even swing democrats our way IF we show them what TRUE REPUBLICAN policies stand for.

You are only thinking of the "republicans can't keep winning the elections" because we need it to be the democrats in charge to destroy the country or prove why we need republicans again BUT in the same breath realize that we need people to realize why this CURRENT republican party is WRONG AS WELL. We need fellow republicans seeing that mccain does NOT stand for true republican values and what better way then to let them win?

I will not vote for mccain or obama but your "Theory" can be applied in both parties is my point.

Why not show your vote actually counting AGAINST both of these parties in revolt of our current FAKE administration and election policies?

stop falling for this crap man.

You operate from a perspective better suited to fantasy stories of good vs. evil. I'm operating from a perspective of what will benefit our cause.

F you and your CRACKHEAD Hustein Osama!!! My Friend:D

You're great at debating concepts.

Yes BUT that still is not reason enough to vote for mccain or convince yourself and others to do that just like it makes zero sense to think that way about voting for obama.

all of america falls for this crap and it is happening right here in our forums as well. I know most the people who are saying they will vote obama or mccain at this moment would have said WAY opposite a few months ago and odds are used wording like "I would rather die then vote for mccain!" and "obama is a socialistic piece of shit who will never get my vote!"

now look at them..

bah bah
black sheep
have you any BACKBONE
no sir no sir
not really anymore

If they haven't seen by now, they never will.

Yes, you are right. Particularly, there was hardly any reaction to the aipac speech, that hit me, most of his followers don't even realize the real problems.

When RP said Obama was going to be the next pres, I was kinda thinking of him as a good guy (sort of). But now, as someone else said, it's - Same shit, different piles. ;)

Phree is so smart and prescient, we must have him as our Federal Reserve Chairman.

+1

his mentality is the same as why we must fight other nations to become free.

We must do something that is against our common sense and ability for the greater good.

lol sad really BUT its in his sheepish head and that is his choice...

fox news is back on, go fill it on up sheep and then come back here and tell us your new "opinion" that you just got..

Because I'm fucking sick of people voting dishonestly, a good chunk of voters must vote based on excuses alone. They don't vote for the candidate who they think is qualified to be Prez. Sure I know how much democracy sucks, but still I want to be one of the few who votes honestly. Basing my vote on what I think the rest of sheeple America will do sounds silly and I would rather not vote at all.

If you can't find a man you think deserves the white house, then don't fucking vote. Its really quite simple.

You people keep going on about honesty, conscience, blah blah blah, yet Dr Paul remains a member of the GOP. Is that him being honest or practical? I think it's obvious he does it for practical reasons. I fucking joined Bush's party, do you think I did that completely honestly? No, I did it with the idea of flipping it on it's head. Many of you are hypocrites.

I've been eligible to vote since 1976. So far I've voted twice, once for Perot and again for Kerry to stop Bush. I would have cast a protest vote again this year but now I have a smarter alternative.
