I've lived a few miles from the border my whole life. I've also been around the country and they rival Mississippians in their anti-intellectualism.

Please don't remind me of some of the people I live around I assure you not all of us are zombies though.

Percentage wise compared to the old folks. Looks like older people place more importance in voting than young Ron Paul supporters when it comes down to it. Older people just have better priorities

Frankly folks I am praying for Gingrich to win big tonight. This may help the Media & average GOP voters cognitively accept the "inevitable" reality that this is just the beginning of bitter drawn-out "precinct-by-precinct" fights for DELEGATES in every state for months to come, which fights will not "come to a head" until the various STATE CONVENTIONS! Maybe this time the Nevada GOP will scrape up enough money to keep the lights on!!!?)

You know what's going to happen if Gingrich wins, right? The media is going to talk about a two man race! I know it's unfair! Romney will challenge Gingrich to a 1 on 1 debate... Everyone will pump up a "Gingrich or Romney" race. They will try to polarise republicans between those two.

That's not fair you say? I agree, but media is not fair... They want Ron to get as few delegates as possible.. This is how they can do that!

I really can't stand "conservatives". No matter how much bitching and harping on principles they do, they are Republicans at the end of the day. Conservatives hate "The Media" - outside of their beloved Fox News, who would never betray them - so much, that they will support the first candidate who attacks The Media in debates and challenges their premises. And when a candidate does this they clap like seals.

They don't care about beating Obama, they care about Proving The Media Wrong™ no matter how shitty the candidate is. They showed this with Sarah Palin and now it's Newt.

No we don't. We have a long term strategy that does not hinge upon the first three states. 3rd would be great, 4th we are still in, it doesn't matter.

No chance. I hate to be negative but that is way to wishful thinking. Said more in hope than expectation.

Right now, I'd take 3rd with 20% in a heartbeat. Even that seems highly against the odds now. Let's win Nevada.

I know there's an election plan here and SC/Florida really don't play a part in it, but it's disheartening to see these results. The media is going to move to marginailize Paul even more now.

Agree hopefully we can get good results in the caucus states...

It takes time to learn and understand the truth. Paul is not the "drive-in window" of the candidate menu (looks like Newt is )
