Shouldn't we be getting ready Rand for a contested convention?

I don't want to not try. What if we try and prevail? I'm not saying it will happen but I don't want to spend the next 4-8 years asking "What might have been", especially when there is an opportunity this time around.

Try what? To nominate Rand for president if he doesn't want to be nominated?

Those are fine things to pursue, and if people want to, then more power to them. But the decision about whether or not to pursue national convention delegate slots is separate from those things.

I just don't want regrets and if we fail or we succeed but Rand declines then so be it. The RNC is giving us
a bigger opportunity then 2012. At least take advantage
!

Rand could have made a bigger splash had he not run as a half hearted non interventionist. He also didn't have to toss free trade away by condemning trade deals that put the US at a competitive disadvantage. And he could have been stronger on the border. There is no way in hell this nation will EVER go libertarian if masses of third world immigrants continue to arrive. He could have at least demanded an end to all government services for illegals. He could have called for their employers to pay for what the taxpayer now pays. But the Rand campaign never seemed to have a clue........
