You can bet Russia and other geo-political foes will covertly support this with funds, propaganda, etc... If the US does it all over the world, you can bet they will divide and conquer here as well
Jerry Brown: If Trump Wins, We’ll Build a Wall Around California

Adios, mofos.
There's not going to be any California secession. The people behind it seem to be serious (unlike in Texas circa 2009), but the popular support for secession is just more CA liberals virtue signaling how much they hate Trump.
i am going to do everything I can to help them get serious . I fully expect it to be on the ballot in 2018.
Must be serious, I see you put it in your sig.

I know my home state. Despite whether we're a tax drain or contributor, independence would be a disaster for CA. Mass immigration would crater wages, high taxation and regulation would drive businesses out of business and the rich to flee the state. California would also probably allow illegals to vote the moment they stepped foot South of San Diego. It would become a third world shithole within a decade or maybe two.Buzzkill.

And for the first time on record, California did not host any of the top 25 live-action films at the worldwide box office in 2015, according to the study.
In fiscal 2015, Georgia hosted 248 total film and television productions, which had a $6 billion economic impact on the state, according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development. The direct spend of these projects was $1.7 billion.
"With all these new distribution models, we're seeing a lot of these projects pick Georgia," Thomas said. "Jason Bateman is directing a series, 'Ozark,' for Netflix that will be shooting here. Will Packer will have a series here, 'Buckhead.' At one point, we had nine pilots here."
Georgia revamped its tax incentives available to productions that choose to shoot here, and the industry has since skyrocketed. The film industry's economic impact increased over 2000 percent since 2008, and Thomas expects it will keep growing.
How could a place that stupidly managed maintain themselves? I don't see it.

I notice all the people that are opposed are from Cali.
