I am in NH and people are flipping out over last night's debate. They were apalled at the way the other candidates acted. I have seen several Mitt Romney supporters and Obama supporters that have switched to RP.

i hope this is true (switching from others to RP). My impression of the debate last night was that it hurt more than helped. It seemed to me that all that was accomplished was some romney supporters going to mccain or huck... some huck going to mccain or romney etc. Ron didn't do anything that would help draw the others into his camp but maybe I am wrong. Either way it is good to hear because the other candidates were SO disrespectful last night. It reminded me of how Al Gore was "sighing" during Bush's answers during their first debate.

how do you know this?????where did you see these people you talk of?????

Glad to hear that, last nights debate should really help him among independents. It really showed a clear contrast.

I have nodoubt that he will take 1st here in New Hampshire.

His support is phenominal!

p.s. And before you all ask again, 'give me proof why you think that', let me say that we gave out 500+ yard signs in two days, the honks are staggering when we have a sign wave, the campaign HQ is doing OK (my gf got a call 2 days ago from RP, got a call yesterday from the phone banker offering rides and had canvassers stop by yesterday) and the energy in the air is electric even after Iowa!

I think you are way off.

Ron paul nailed the question about Obama.

He started off by comparing the similarities, and explaining why young people flock to both of their campaigns... he then cracked a joke about his age that everyone laughed at...

He then started to criticize Obamas shortcomings.

That was a good strategy, and i bet alot of Obama supporters that were watching, at least got curious enough to look into ron paul more.

And that's juts 1 example of how ron potentially drew in tons of more support in the debate last night.

He got a lot of attention fromt he other republicans all attacking him...

i think the debate went well, very well.

And i really hope people in new hampshire are converting to Paulites FAST! :D

I hope this is state wide! :D

Some former Obama supporters that I talked too switched to RP because they disagreed on some of Obama's issues and those were the same issues that they first found out last night that they agree with Paul on. That was so smart of RP to give credit to Obama because the Obama supporters were listening. I also spoke to some Mccain supporters that heard him say to RP that he will miss him in the Fox forum and that got them angry and it convinced them to become undecided and take a closer look at RP. I am so happy, if you are in the NH area please talk to people and convert them to RP. The debate last night did wonders!

The guy who owns fivepaks msg board lives in New Hampshire.. hes not a Ron Paul supporter but he says he gets a call almost EVERY DAY from the Ron Paul campaign.. so.. Atleast I know theyre out in force.

If you are in NH please try and convert people to RP. After the way last nights debate went it is really easy!!!

I hope you're right friend. I taped the debate and watched it around 12am last night so maybe it would have been different watching it live. The obama answer was great but Ron seemed very docile last night. I was expecting him to come out swinging especially against Huck and thompson. I found myself fast forwarding through 20 min of McCain/Romney/Guiliani before getting to 30 seconds of Ron.

He needs to win NH or the MSM is going to go into 'full attack mode' instead of
'full ignore mode'.

2 people watching debate w/me last night who didn't even know what RP looked like (ie they didn't know 'yet' and I purposefully held back my opinions, comments etc. so that they would really hear Ron and not me)....were totally like," yeah, I like this guy!! who is he?? is that your guy??" when RP got going on economy, healthcare and other stuff besides the 'islamofacism' crap, which they missed anyway, but still...it was encouraging. ONe is repub. and the other indep.

They were totally turned off by the rudeness, and bullshit coming out of the other candidates. Really hate Romney's crap and very in the know about what a snake McCain truly is. Said Thomspon was an 'idiot' and just babbled about nothing.

People really love Ron......why the f can't the campaign get their shit together and
get him out there EVERYWHERE on TV???? I live in SW FL gulfcoast area and I see alot of Julie Annie and no one else so far. We have the money and there's more where that came from....does the campaign not know this???

It's very confusing to me, I'm just a dumbed down sheeple that is sick and effing tired of the crap I'm being fed while I'm being milked and bilked of everything I hold dear...but it's obvious that the MSM is going to use Paul as their 'fallguy' for taking the election away from the repubs. by splitting the party. And they will go for the throat if he doesn't totally kick ass on Tues.

The most opposition I get when trying to convince other repub. to vote for Ron is that they just don't think he's got a serious enough chance (because they don't see him on the boob tube!!!)
the majority of the sheeple still depend on the TV for their info., reading still takes too much effort.

GET RON ON TV EVERYWHERE, NOWWWWWWW.....!!!!!

I AM NOT A TROLL!!!

Switching...

so does this mean we may have 2 election votes, but the two voters who switched may/may not be able to participate in the caucus?

I think this is something to remember that alot of rp supporters are unable to participate in the primaries, because never before did i know there were any rules for voters.

Mitt Romney and the rest of the pack acted in a horrendous and condescending manner toward Dr. Paul and it was FCKIN sickening to see...Romney and the rest of them laughing at the idea that we ought to not kill people in war....what a joke....and Romney attitude is arrogance at its highest...unforgettable and unforgiveable...

I didn't 'attack you as a troll', I asked if you were a troll.

That's a cheap way trying to get away. I know what a rethorical question is and what it is used for.

...The polls are inaccurate, you should know that. And NO, the IA
polls weren't accurate either.

They underestimated RPs support a bit. But not much. The difference is not big enough to close the gap between a 4th/5th place finish and getting first.

There were many things that didn't
get done by the campaign that would have made a big difference.

Maybe. But I doubt these mistakes are worth 20%+.

And if you are going by what the polls says, then did you take
note of the 14% that N.H. reported the other day?
(I think it was a Rasmussen poll.)

Hunter

In fact, I did take note of the NEWER Rasmussen poll that has RP at 11%. Others have him at 7-9%. Assuming that he will again finish a bit better, 10-15% is realistically the target number. That's not enough to be first, but it would give us another boost. Which is great and worth fighting for.

Well, I actually thought that when he gave his answer on Healthcare and kept going and going and tied it all into economic policy, foreign policy... etc.. that was gangster as hell.

Ron Paul is the truth.

I dont think it hurts Ron to come across as docile because he also comes across as intelligent and respectful. He looks very presidential on stage next to the snickering, smirking, and laughing candidates 20 years his junior. When he tries to say something they cut him off and laugh at him.

I think that shows voters the other candidates for what they are and shows they lack class. I think after the shit eating grins, smirks, and arrogance people have witnessed from the current president that they are looking for someone who is more humble and respectful and brings a Presidential air back to the office rather than another person with a large ego and no class to sit in the office and make fools of us again. If these guys cant act like grown ups when debating a member of their own party they are going to look even worse debating a democrat or if they ever get in office trying to sit down and have rational foreign policy meetings with leaders of other nations.

I know I for one am voting for Paul because he seems to have well formulated ideas, doesnt waver, and sticks to his guns. I think he is the most Presidential of all the candidates on stage last night and benefitted from it.

I'd agree with that if he had started with "I haven't fully studied his positions yet"
