Looks like Ron is giving the corrupt former AR gov the Donald Trump treatment, again. Is this a good move?

Do many people think Ron has dropped out? Yes.

Is skipping an opportunity to be presented to millions of Republican voters a few days before Super Tuesday a good move? No.

*sigh*

I'm not seeing the fight from Ron. He needs to appear at things. He needs to ask people for their vote. He needs to run for President instead of propel a movement further.

Maybe, he has an elephant-in-the-room scenario planned, though...I hope.

Yeah, I'm not certain if I get it. Will Paul be doing retail politics in Washington instead? Will he be on another network at the same time?

Sounds like an AWFUL move to me. Is he running to win or not????

I can't stand any of the networks and can only tolerate a couple hosts/moderators - but you can't ignore them and win.

What is the deal here????

Well clearly he's in it to win Washington state. I approve of campaign strategy. Although it would be nice to show that you're alive and in the race ala Fox.

from what I've read on here, which sound plausible, is that its now just a movement. I still never give up, until the clock hits 0:00 .

Would prefer that Ron get as many national speaking opportunities in as possible...but I don't like the debate being from an ego (like Trump or Huskster).

Don't think we'll hurt too much from not being on Fox...these pastures have been thoroughly grazed.

Ron NEEDS to do this question and answer stuff. Get 1 on 1 with the voters. This is a very fair form of campaigning, I don't understand this strategy..

Have you met Mr. Short-Attention-Span Average Voter? If Ron's not in the news EVERYDAY as a contender, people will further assume that he's not worth their vote.

I saw on CBS nightly news tonight that Super Tuesday is now "a race between Santorum and Gingrich to become the GOP's anti-Romney." If Ron doesn't get out there everyday and drill it into these people's heads that he's the only non-Romney with a chance to beat Obama, then we can't blame the media and the bulk of voters for ignoring him.

I was really hoping that this campaign was going to have some big dramatic action from Ron Paul telling people clearly that he's the only one that can save them. But day after day Ron just goes out there and gives his same "rally" and fails to make headlines.

Where's the talk about him being the only one who saw the crash coming? Where's the talk about being the only one with a plan that doesn't compromise current entitlements? Where's the big dramatic statements that show that he's a leader? He's not going back to congress next term, so where is his one last chance? If he doesn't flat-out WIN WA, ND, AK, VT, or some other states on Tuesday then he's done - delegate strategy included.

Does he just want to go home and retire after "spreading the message" for another couple months? That's the impression I'm getting.

he is getting more publicity from taking Bernanke to the woodshed

Where? Because I would like to see that. This Huckabee Forum was pretty fair the first time and is a great way to keep his name relevant. What is Ron doing instead? Campaigning like his supposed reason was last time? Didn't do a whole lot of good. Campaign at a couple of town halls for a few hundred people, or be seen by thousands watching the Huckabee forum.

Ron declining AGAIN is showing that he is not viable to the REPUBLICAN voters. Think about it, the average Fox News Republican will probably be watching, or at least watch clips of the forum, and Ron decides to cancel two times in a row? Not a good message.

Is there anyway we can petition the campaign to change their decision?

Ron Paul to skip Huckabee Forum

"Mike Huckabee is hosting his third special-edition presidential forum in Wilmington, Ohio, on Saturday, but only three of the four GOP candidates will participate. The odd man out is Ron Paul, who will be campaigning in Washington state, which holds it caucuses that day ... the producers declined Paul's request to appear via satellite from Washington, saying such accommodations have not been allowed in the past ... According to the letter, the Paul campaign called Fox News' decision "arrogant."

I hope RP supporters boycott & Fox sees some low ratings w/o RP.
