Ron "Trumps" the Huckster, again! (will skip Huckabee Forum)

I will not watch! They might as well let him speak from satellite. When he is on stage they treat him like he is in another state.

Ron declining AGAIN is showing that he is not viable to the REPUBLICAN voters. Think about it, the average Fox News Republican will probably be watching, or at least watch clips of the forum, and Ron decides to cancel two times in a row? Not a good message.

Is there anyway we can petition the campaign to change their decision?

Yeah. I'm really hoping there's a super secret strategy, and we'll all breath a sigh of relief, once we're clued in.
 
He may get more traction for calling them arrogant than from showing up knowing how Americans love reality TV and anything DRAMA.
 
Ron Paul is going to be IN WASHINGTON for their caucuses. When we end up winning Washington, it'll be much more important than some stupid forum nobody is going to watch.

Campaigning in WA sounds like a way more productive use of Ron's time, wouldn't you say? I mean, isn't it what you wanted him to do, to do everything possible to win WA?

The man can't be in two places at once. The WA win would get us much more publicity than some Huck forum that will be forgotten the next day or two.
 
Huckabee - Ron, you haven't won any states, and polls have you in last place everywhere. Why are you still running.

Huckabee - Iran is going to blow isreal up, do you want to see our allies die?

Go Ron, get some votes while the other candidates are sucking up each others oxygen.
 
Anyone who is a Christian should get this right away. Huckabee is THE WORST example of a Christian you can ask for. He tried being a pastor, but decided he couldn't force people into his control as well as he wanted so became a politician where he adopted the lavish lifestyle he always "deserved", giving zero thought to people in need. Like Paul, I wouldn't ever associate myself with hypocrite power grubbing trash like that. I'd sooner have him attend a Guliani lead forum than a Huckabee forum and you can bet Paul would say yes to that over traitor hypocrite Huckabee.

I agree with this, but i understand the other side of the argument too. It just doesn't look good seeing the 3 stooges there, and Ron is not around at all. The viewers will probably hear his name mentioned or Fuckabee saying 'Paul declined to be here' as the show begins, and there is no denying that it just doesn't look good and people will think he has given up or doesn't care about being president (when that's the farthest thing from the truth). Fuckabee is a joke and just loves getting his name on everything, hence the reason why most of these former candidates and political hacks always wind up on FoX with some shit show, and they try to play a kingmaker of sorts :rolleyes: I know exactly why Ron wants nothing to do with them, but still, any media coverage is good coverage.

I think it's a snub. FOX goes out of its way to try to ruin Paul when he is actively running for the Republican nom.

I think Paul realizes that his being on Fox does more for their ratings then it does help his.

RP at the end of the day is a well studied and well meaning intellectual, Physician and Statesman. FOX is entertainment garbage and they treat him like dirt.

If he has had enough of it from them, I fully understand.

And..this could have been a play to get Ron out of Washington to kill momentum at a critical point. He didn't bite and the others are not in Washington.

Ron needs to go on via satellite, say something controversial that Republicans will eat up and that will make the rounds for a day on the media. Say something smart, but controversial.
