Ron Paul's immigration position from 2007

No he is not a legislator anymore, he just tries to push his message of liberty and limited government. When he was a legislator he talked about securing the border with sattelites and other technologies than a wall. And when he ran for president he said whatever it takes to physically secure the border and control entry into the country. That's not taking what he says out of context thats looking at his exact statement. How do you physically secure something without a wall or control entry into this country without asking for papers??

Ron's position is very clear, that's why this thread drives the trolls nuts.

Ron said we should control who comes here and how many should come here:

I remember that well because I did the research for that back in 2012 when I was on the national trail supporting Ron Paul, and included that Heritage piece in the comparison sheet that I sent out wide and far. And down at Tampa Convention where I attended VIP, I remember all the Romney people calling me names like Leftist, Turn-Coat, ANTI-American... this thread brings back memories.

Ron has made clear that birthright citizenship and welfare/incentives must stop - not restricting employment/work, taking private property or implementing "Constitution-Free" Zones. Certainly not shoot to kill on sight as some are now advocating.

how about moving the Border Patrol down to the Rio Grande where the actual border is, instead of mucking with Private Property and human beings lives 50-100 miles in. Perhaps the "Constitution-Free Zone" can then be eliminated, get Fed.gov OFF OUR BACKS, and actually save us a buck for cheapos like me.
