Ron Paul Unveils Economic Revitalization Plan

I am somewhat surprised that this was released before the debates. The reason being, it wouldn't be unlike one of those other candidates to try and hijack his plan and speak upon it. The vast majority of the TV sheeple will be oblivious, and then praise the hijacker (likely Huckabee).

I would have expected this to be released a bit closer to the debate time, leaving no time for preparation by the other candidates.

This is amazing, and just what Dr. Paul needed to do at this time. Lay out a clear and concise bullet point list of what HE'D do to help the economy.
I know that Rush is a member of the MSM, but I listen to him just to know what he's saying when I go and pick my kids up from school.
All he's talking about is how the stimulus package being put together is inefficient and a joke. He also talks about how liberal McCain is and Huckabee. I wish there was a way to really get him to look at this. Many of the points on Dr. Paul's lists he was supporting.

I love how he came up with the perfect way to kill the Fed without saying, "Kill the Fed." FORCE THOSE BASTARDS TO TELEVISE THEIR MEETINGS, AUDIT THEM, MAKE THEM RELEASE ALL DATA. That would be a crippling blow!

or they will have to so reform that it is in the best interest of the US PEOPLE!

Has anyone compared this to say Hillarycare? I hear Hillarycare is very detailed.

This needs more press. I hope that wasn't it for their announcement.

Looks awesome. I just came from another forum bitching about how unfair this new stimulus plan is and am miffed people who don't work will get free money and my husband, who works his ass off will get none of his back. It's BS.

I want Pauls plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could get clarity on what he means by freeze all non entitlement spending. I saw he was reffering to pork spending, but what about entitlements? I know he sees those as a part of the problem of what stands in the way from competitive growth.

Did the official campaign just do something that official campaigns are supposed to do? Overall a great plan.

Personally I would of liked to see rebate checks as part of the plan. Very popular with the masses and a back door way of reducing payroll taxes.

That's for sure. It's something like 400 pages.

Paul needs to expand on this plan and or at least explain what he would do about entitlements.

Why issue rebate checks and make more debt for your children? they have to "print" that money to send it!

Pass H.J. Res 23 (The “Liberty Amendment”), proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States relative to abolishing personal income, estate, and gift taxes.

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=hj110-23&tab=summary

Repeals the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution three years after ratification of this amendment and thereafter prohibits Congress from levying taxes on personal incomes, estates, and gifts.

Where is this being promoted? I didn't even see a link to this page from the ronpaul2008.com home page. They need to send out a press release or at least highlight it on the home page.

Yeah! Go Ron Paul! We're not talking about STIMULUS, we're talking a complete REVITALIZATION! Ron seems like one of those guys that I could listen to for hours because he is so knowledgeable about everything.

I just sent the following to my two senators and something similar to my congressman:

I support Congressman Ron Paul's Comprehensive Economic Revitalization Plan and I'm asking you to support it as half of my representation in the U.S. Senate. In case you are not familiar with the plan use this link: www.ronpaul2008.com/prosperity

I haven't looked up all the bill numbers referenced yet, but more than likely this plan has several bills authored by Congressman Paul that are ALREADY out there. So this is not something new, but the same message the Congressman from Texas has been saying all along, and he has ALREADY introduced legislation to try to implement many of these measures. That point should be hammered home in the debates...
