RICK WILLIAMS POLLING AMONG THE LEADERS IN U.S. SENATE RACE IN CALIFORNIA

Orly Taitz mentioned this poll to me today at a candidate forum, so I took a look and found it on her website. This latest poll shows Orly leading the Republican field at 10% followed by Rick Williams and two other candidates tied at 6%. Their margin of sampling error is 4.5%– so it’s effectively a four way tie for the lead on the Republican side of the U.S. Senate race. Very close– let’s get the vote out, liberty-lovers. We can win! The Rick Williams campaign is right there!

Hey Rick, are you coordinating or communicating with Ron Paul Meet-ups in California?

Brian-- doing everything I can. Getting the word out in California is a huge challenge. We have a great team at LA Liberty Headquarters, and stalwarts in Northern California, Orange County, and San Diego. I'd appreciate any help . . .

I used to live out your way Rick, but now live the Grand High Five State of Michigan. I do have a good number of family out your direction scattered throughout Pasadena, West Covina, Anaheim, and Pomona . I will add you to their who to vote for list I regularly email them.

Rick, go to Claremont, CA near Pomona... Organize a campaign event at the many retirement homes here. That is how David Dreier has clung onto power out of this district for so long.

The top 2 vote getters make it to the general, so our guy could potentially win the primary by finishing in the teens. We need to be pushing this more.

Every Ron Paul supporter in Cali needs to be spreading the word about Rick Williams. How awesome would it be to have a Liberty Senator in CALIFORNIA?

Plus Feinstein is socialist scum. She absolutely needs to go.

It would be truly awesome... however, beating Feinstein is no easy task.

Does Rick have any kind of volunteer organization? What does he need done?

My wife and I just voted for you and mailed in our ballots, Rick. All the best of luck and keep fighting the good fight!

Does a conservative have any hope of winning CA? I wrote CA off a long time ago as a lost cause.

Only if enough of us Californians stand up and vote how we feel and eventually send a message. There are more conservatives than you may think in California, especially the rural counties. Unfortunately, we have San Francisco and Hollywood which dominate the state.

An establishment conservative has no chance. A Liberty Conservative who can't be pigeon holded on social issues and can attack Feinstein on war, might just win.

I agree with Maximus.

Feinstein is at her lowest approval rating ever. with Ron Paul voter support I think the republicans could win a US senate seat in November. It's going to be interesting to see how the primary turns out though. you have I think ~5 republicans and ~5 democrats and then other party candidates all running against Feinstein on the same ballot because of the top-two system. from open secrets the highest any of these candidates has raised is 300k and 145k for two other republicans respectively. but that is hardly any advertising for a state like California. yet it might be enough to put them above the rest.

I don't think any other republicans would have a shot in the general except Rick Williams. If he does win the primary I would hope he would attract some money. probably not from the republican party but libertarians hopefully. the problem is I think the majority of RP voters do not know a libertarian is on the ballot at this point. so that's just the way it is. but he still has a slim chance at this point. I honestly think it will come down to the ordering of candidates on the ballot, their described profession, and sound of the name. you could expect the candidates with other party affiliations to get a share of the vote... hopefully people would just abstain from voting when they don't know much about the candidates but who knows... I've never looked at the data to how noncompetitive races turn out, when there is many people on the ballot. but the top-two system is pretty unique, although I think it was done in Louisiana to some effect.
