Ron Paul Supporter (Rick Williams for U.S. Senate) Polling Among the Leaders In California

I really wish we could get some good grassroots fundraising behind this. People don't realize what a great opening this "top two" primary system could be for a liberty candidate. I have not heard one thing about Rick Williams except on this board, and there is not way that people know who to vote for yet. Is there any way he could get on Jon and Ken or Bill Handel? Lots of conservatives in La, OC, and SD listen religiously to those programs. I can't believe Orly Taitz is 2nd right now either.

John and Ken are very solid on the issues. However, when it comes to picking and choosing candidates, they're awful. John voted for Clinton in the 2008 primary and Mccain in the general. Ken picked Obama in the general. They endorsed Schwarzenegger in 2003 AND 2006. Romney was Johns pick in 2008 (after their favorite tancredo dropped out), and they've spoken highly of Romney again in this cycle. John has called Ron Paul a nut.

I just don't get it. They're strong, lone voices against excessive taxation in this state, against the wars, against the tsa, against cronyism... and yet they have no idea how to pick candidates. I like them, but I have absolutely NO faith they would ever give Rick Williams a 2nd look, let alone a 1st.
