Ron Paul on Wolf Blitzer / CNN (12/2/11) - Official Thread

uhg... why can't Ron spin the 3rd party question to

"What I want to know is, will those who support the other candidates get behind me when/if I win the GOP nomination?"

Yeah Id like to see something like that too. I bet the 3rd party questions would stop.

Ahahaha somebody needs to get a screen cap of that graphic about him being selfish. Too damn funny!

Wow, outrageous.... Ron needs to ignore stupid questions about stupid people and just talk about his policies instead...

the interview with Wolf was much better than the one with Neil. He was much more concise and on-point.

Good answer on the last question. I'm sure the Democrats and independents watching loved it too, especially how he would pay for it, which no one else is offering (cut overseas spending).

grinch vs huntsman debate in near future o brother. the gop is gonna do their best to elect obama!

Those questions were HORRIBLE. Ron needs to get a little pissed off, instead of just passively answering those as if they're proper questions for a top tier candidate

I feel like I am watching a circus..

They just insulted Cain. "Huntsman actually knows what he is talking about, Herman Cain never had a clue."

Remember when that reporter asked him about that stupid question about one of his supporters and Ron tore into her asking how that is even a legitamate question? I'd love to see him do that more IMO.

sweet, Newt is teaming up with Hunstman to take votes away from Paul in NH.

fuck.

well Ron is getting his face out there anyway ... a plus the ad may sink in and old media watchn folks will see it

He should just say something like...

"I don't question anyone else's right to run for President. If the Republican nominee is for sound money and has a good foreign policy then I will support them. If they aren't strong in those things... then maybe we need an independent candidate"

Of course that would be twisted on him and people would be furious. It would hurt him in the long run sadly. Even though in my opinion, and probably most others, that is the way it should be.

These things are so fucking scripted. What's the point of even having Ron Paul on if you're just going to talk about piddling things like who he likes the most and if he'll run 3rd party? It's the same bullshit every single interview.

1) What's your deal with Newt?

2) Could you support Newt?

3) Who's worse, Newt or Romney?

4) WILL YOU RUN 3RD PARTY?

5) How about that Herman Cain?

Rinse, repeat.

Typical "news" programming, quick questions to invoke emotions in viewers with no thinking needed. The network news goal is "News without opinions or thought".

I would change it slightly and say:

"I don't question anyone else's right to run for President. If the Republican nominee is for sound money and has an intelligent foreign policy then I will support them. If they aren't strong in those things... then they don't represent what it means to be in the Republican Party."
