I didn't watch any of the blonde. Tennant back as the 14th was beyond disappointing. I've been patient with the woke stuff since I grew up on this show (mostly Tom Baker) but I'm saying it's jumped the shark at this point.

JUSTICE MINISTER HELEN McEntee is seeking a meeting with X, formerly Twitter, after she said the platform’s inaction on taking down certain posts partially “fuelled” public disorder in Dublin last Thursday.

Her comments come as gardaí investigating the riots have been examining social media posts as part of efforts to trace some of those involved.

It is understood that any violence and looting of shops in the city centre is only part of the investigation, with alleged incitement of the crowds also forming part of enquiries.

McEntee said that X did not engage with gardaí on the day when contacted to take down “vile” posts .

Speaking today, McEntee said: “When [X] did not take down content on Thursday it added to and I think fuelled some of what happened.

“I would like to engage with them on what they plan to do moving forward.”

She added that the recent establishment of Coimisiún na Meán “is moving towards a society where we don’t have self-regulation with these types of companies”.

“I think that’s a good thing.

“There has been engagement between An Garda Síochána and social media companies, not just on Thursday, but since then, but I will be seeking to meet with X myself because I think the company have a responsibility to be responsible.”

At this point in time, can anyone really say they were incapable of predicting this very response? One would have to have no IQ of which to speak in order not to have seen that 1000 miles off.

When the displacement is complete and power is consolidated, they are going to kill you and your family.

Upon that much we can bank.

Police statists are not typically so blunt - not unless and until they feel their control is secure and absolute (which our current police statists do not feel - they are, in fact, quite insecure, as evidenced by their incessant and increasingly desperate attempts to demonize their political opponents). But on the other hand, nowadays, who knows?

Just as a story may be factual but not truthful (legacy media "journalists" traffic in such stories as a matter of routine), a story may also be truthful but not factual. Is the latter any less "real" than the former?

Anti-immigration sentiment has seemingly united people with longstanding sectarian divisions in Northern Ireland, with a protest against mass migration seeing British Union Jack flags and the Irish Tricolour flying side by side.

In the city centre of Belfast, the capital city of the UK’s Northern Ireland and the previous epicentre of decades-long violent conflict known as ‘The Troubles’, anti-immigration activists from both sides of the “united” Ireland debate put aside their differences to unite around the cause of ending mass migration to the Emerald Isle.

At the scene of the protest, GB News’ Northern Ireland reporter, Dougie Beattie, said with astonishment: “For the first time in my life, I have seen a Union Jack flying alongside a Tricolor.”

Beattie noted that the anti-mass migration protest, organised in the wake of a mass stabbing attack on a children’s dance party in Southport, England on Monday, was mostly comprised of working class people, including some from Dublin.
