Why?

He is tough on illegal immigration for one.

Mostly the way he talks. He supports many of the values that made The United States a place to be and come to. He talks of fundamentals like the Constitution.

I don't like seeing these guys like Steve King and Ron Paul stepping down. Then again we seem to be at a threshold where you may be a sucker stepping in right now. It's like the hammer is going to fall and you may find yourself pushed right under it.

It is really the main problem in Iowa.

Either you get a social con warrior, a libertarian leaning candidate, or a establishment business type.
We need to find a liberty candidate that doesn't piss off or scare the shit out of the other two groups.

Yep, both Republican Congressmen, Governor, Lt. Governor, and Sec of Ag have all declined. This race is wide open.

If King ran, I'd probably have supported him. Not sure who can run now...Sorenson is unelectable after the Bachmann controversy.
