So far at least, but jeesh, they're moving troops into civilian areas for months now. I get the impression that those surrounding Trump are hoping that the National Guard moving into DC will turn into a Kent State moment, and allow a national emergency to be declared - which gives the pretense for expanding executive power elsewhere.
