Keep in mind that AuH20 is the same guy who was disappointed because someone else (
Adam Kokesh) didn't do what he is too much of a big-talking coward to do himself (namely, go out in a "glorious" cloud of gory red mist in some kind of violent confrontation with the police).
Plan? Ain't nobody got time for that!
AuH20 fancies himself to be a
post-apocalyptic "Mr. Civilization Officer" (his words) who is going to pick up the pieces after the Great Fall and put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
I don't honestly think any of our political efforts will pan out. I do not believe they are supposed to. The beast will win, and there will be some form of post apocalyptic hell in the future. However, for me this is not a reason to stop working for a peaceful political solution, but only to try 3 times harder. You see, the Lord said "occupy till I come" and the guy who buried his talent was cast out. We work not because we think we will win, but for righteousness sake.
More practically, I have to try even harder to stop it, because when that day comes and I have to set the sights of my rifle on some other mother's son, how can I in good conscience pull that trigger unless I had done, literally
everything in my power to stop and prevent it?
I
don't want to live in some kind of mash-up between The Stand and Mad Max. Even if I believe it to be inevitable I don't egg it on, I work my fingernails to blood and bone to stop it even though I know it can't be stopped.
Some kid, desperate for food, of which you have almost none, clearly willing to kill, you raise up your rifle and slowly squeeze the trigger. "did I encourage this? Did I want this to happen? This is just some guy desperate for food. There but by the grace of God go I...." hesitate, and die. Or don't hesitate, and lose your soul.
See? I think yes, it's foreordained. What is coming is the crucible in which all will be tested. The more we fight to stop it, inevitability notwithstanding, the more souls we will save alive at the end. So I try, hard, and I try whatever I think will actually work, and I fight. I may know that I will never actually save the country, but I will have changed the battlefield enough that more people will live.
Can a military commander go into a battle knowing he will lose, but give it his everything because it will accomplish some larger strategic victory? WHy, yes, I think that it relatively common in war. Politics is just bloodless war. I think that because of the nature of politics a pyrrhic victory is relatively painless, so long as you are not destroyed.
And now, that we are on the verge of some kind of apocalypse or another from 100 directions, who cares if I am politically destroyed?
ANyway, I always want to move faster than the world does.
The only difference is that AuH20 wants someone else to set things on fire for him.
Trump is so full of hot air and empty fluff with no substance, if you wrote down and read his debate responses you would be WTF? If someone has formerly been attendant to principle, but has now abandoned that for bluster, I will assume that they have stopped being constructive and gone thoroughly destructive. It's more a matter of 'what' than who. It could be any charismatic idiot besides Trump there. He has them mesmerised over bluster alone.
That is not healthy.
(Well ... that, and the fact that the Joker is far more coherent, thought-provoking and charming than AuH20 is ...)
Trump is a retrovirus that attacks intellect. I am still researching how exactly it is transmitted. I attribute most of what is going on now to complete dysfunction. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be stopped.
These are Ron Paul's Forums. There is a subset Rand Paul Forums. We allow in our own forums campaigns against our own candidate and the promotion of other candidates.
Here's what I think. Make a semi-hidden subforum outside of Rand's Forums and make an area called "Rand Paul Yes or No?" Banish everything critical of Rand into the yes or no forums and give everyone access who has their posts sent to the same. In the Rand Yes or No subforums, another subforum one each for the promotion of other candidates.
