Rand Paul: "Proud to sign a resolution welcoming Netanyahu to Congress"

The man is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, but with stuff like the recent post on his Facebook page, he'd have a shot at possibly bringing over some of the rah-rah pro Israel crowd.

I would much rather welcome a duly elected head of state of a nation that wants to be on good terms with the US, than a dictator of a nation that can't hide its hatred of the US and has openly stated its goal is to destroy us.

The Israeli government loves what the U.S. can do for it. The love really isn't reciprocated.

We need to be a big tent. Not everyone who supports Rand is going to be a hardcore libertarian on these issues.

So we put out the welcome mat for Iran?

Do you think it's wise for Israel to attempt to bomb their nuclear complex? Does that strike you as smart?

krugminator2 Becks: "You want to know who else is Jewish? Most of the major thinkers in this movement."

(WHAT 'MOVEMENT' ARE YOU BLATHERING ABOUT?!? ...the biggest [bowel] 'movement' i see around here is the 'movement' to get the stinking republicrats to vote for republican rand paul  ...btw, NONE of the people you mentioned are 'monetary realists'...they are theoretical economists...$ophists...try reading the simply written, "The Truth in Money Book" by thoren and warner..and get real, republicrat! ;)

You are a disgrace. You are why people call this movement racist. And you are a racist.

("Zionism" is by definition, 'racist,' you apparent twisted racist zionist cheerleader!!)

And I see Ahmadinejad equated to Netanyahu? Ahmadinejad is a Holocaust denier for crying out loud. There is a big difference between Iran and Israel.

(you know them personally i take it?!..;)...face it, you 'know' what you 'know' from faux news, glenn beck. etc. gd republicrat warmongering fools-with-a-microphone galore!

It is quite another to support countries like Iran and support the Palestinians. I must have missed where those countries are libertarian heaven. I haven't heard of too many Palestinians carrying around copies of Human Action.

(STRAWMAN ALERT STRAWMAN ALERT...

Here is the point:Netanyahu is charged with promoting an agenda that is in the best interests of his own country. He's in charge, and that's what he does. He is smart enough to call an enemy and enemy, which is light years ahead of what Obama is doing. Of course it makes Obama look spineless and small to say he want to go to war and won't really define an enemy while Netanyahu has countries on all sides bringing war right on to his doorstep, trying to wipe his little nation right off the face of the earth.

I think Netanahu is a very good leader. He is clear on Israel's objectives. He articulates them well.

Flame away. I'll be at work.

Why not?

(methinks your notions of 'enemies' and 'friends' are shaped by some awful media $cum..get out of the republicrat box!!)

Netanyahu articulates Israel's objectives. Putin articulates Russian's objectives. Iran's leaders articulate Iran's objectives. So? Iran genuinely tried for peace and friendship with the U.S. multiple times including after 9/11.

I don't think that's what Iran is doing. Obama wants to extend the warmongering for another four years, but he had yet to demonstrate where our interests are concerned or name the opponent.

Netanyahu doesn't really want anything except alliance. Right now, I think he would be better off without the US because from a diplomatic point of view, we are not supporting him very well.

You want to know who else is Jewish? Most of the major thinkers in this movement. Milton Friedman, Ludwig Von Mises, Rothbard, and Walter Block are Jewish. And they are prominent because of their ideas. It isn't some giant conspiracy. You are a disgrace. You are why people call this movement racist. And you are a racist.

The anti-Jewish and anti-Israel sentiment is despicable. And I see Ahmadinejad equated to Netanyahu? Ahmadinejad is a Holocaust denier for crying out loud. There is a big difference between Iran and Israel.

It is one thing to support a non-interventionist foreign policy. It is also one thing to not have a whole lot of love for Israel (I tend not to support a country that embraces Marxism like they do.) It is quite another to support countries like Iran and support the Palestinians. I must have missed where those countries are libertarian heaven. I haven't heard of too many Palestinians carrying around copies of Human Action.

People are moved so easily. smh

Holocaust denial and flag burning kills how many people, steals/destroys/displaces_from how many peoples homes and property? But people eat it up, "Kill them! Kill them!"

But those that can't sleep at night for the sounds of drones and the losses that they suffer, from the hands of those supporting such from thousands of miles away, are at fault and are doing it to themselves because they burn a flag or discuss possibilities or raise an AK47 against their persecutors? SMH!

My experience has led me to believe that the truth lies always somewhere in the middle. I'm not one to believe the propaganda from the poor wittle Palestinians or the so-called defenders of Western Civilization being the Israelis (I WANT TO PUKE!).

The truth is where it is. It doesn't follow popular fads, or equalize between the extremes. It isn't a fluid that finds equilibrium based on an invisible law of attraction.

It may be hard to navigate around deceit at every level to find it, but the pursuit of it, imo, is more worthy than the gathering of wealth of other types. I know that I'm not alone in that endeavor.

"poor wittle" is an adjective meaning to demean anyone who would take a peek at the objects plight.

The Palestinians have accumulated more than their share of crimes in this grudge match. The PLO has a long history of embezzlement and treachery. I don't want to even get into Hamas. And then they wonder why they can't have common building supplies?

The problem is that peace is not profitable for either side. That's the dirty little secret in all this. No one in the leadership groups wants peace because they in turn would have to find gainful employment.

(..and you know this exactly how?..a brian williams special from tel aviv?...the glenn beck and ruse limbaugh shows?...pbs?...dick cheney?...all of the above and more?...

...it seems to me if Rand, or any of the rest of these stinking Republicrat puppets, were true LEADERS and they truly wanted to promote understanding, truth, justice, peace, etc., he would be leading an effort to get BOTH SIDES TOGETHER to publicly air their grievances...FACE TO FACE...'open to the world of public opinion...

...but no, Rand, LARGELY, plays the same stinking, one-sided, game of iZraeli favoritism that the rest of the stinking zionist republicrat puppets play....YUCK!!!!
