The woman hosting the Judge's show tonight stated that maybe Romney needed to name his choice for VP to try and appeal to conservatives and give his campaign a boost.
That got me thinking about Ron Paul, especially if he wins Iowa and wins or comes in second in New Hampshire. Then he heads to the Southern states. It might be time to start thinking about VP candidates.
I know a lot of speculation has already been done on this, and people tend to look at other liberty-minded politicians in the House or Senate, like his son Rand. But in my opinion, anyone liberty-minded with similar political views to Ron Paul needs to STAY in the House or Senate - they are needed more there in a Ron Paul presidency.
Because Ron Paul is viewed (wrongly) as week on defense, and because he has more support among the military than all the other candidates, I wonder if a top brass military person, like a general or admiral, would be a better choice than a politician? Such a person could help articulate how one could bring the troops home and still maintain a strong(er) national defense. Any names out there??
