Why does America want to kill Iraqis? The answer is the same. The military-industrial complex has dominated Israel's politics since Day One. It has long been an entrenched interest in Israel's politics and like all interest it exists to perpetuate it's power. Constant terror and unending war justify that power and ensures power to those who control the military-industrial complex. Killing Palestinians causes the Palestinian people to react the same way any of us would, by attacking back. Those attacks justify the need for the dominance of the military and those who head it and the funneling of money into it and it's contractors. The cycle of violence is exactly what they want and need to survive.
So... why did Israel offer the Palestinians 95% of the West Bank and Gaza repeatedly? And how exactly does Israel benefit from the military industrial complex?
What does "want" have to do with anything? A teen could launch a brick from an overpass and strike the windshield of a vehicle. Said brick could impact and kill the driver and/or other motorists. The teen might not have wanted to kill someone. Regardless of all that, actions have consequences and people who make despicable choices should be held to account for their actions.
You launch clusterbombs and a child picks up a bomblet to play with it and explodes themselves? Well guess what? They're culpable for that death. More so I'd argue than the teen throwing bricks from the overpass as the brick thrower doesn't know with a certainty that children will be killed. That and they are most probably ignorant and emotionally immature where as Israeli and US policy makers are educated and well aware of the collateral damage to be had.
But war is hell, I'm sure you'll pontificate. I've seen all your arguments before. It gets rather old.

Second, are you saying Israel isn't allowed to bomb a school that stores weapons? Are you saying Hamas has immunity from response so long as they use human shields?

And if they eliminate the Palestinians (who don't exist, according to you), then they can move on to the Jordanians or other countries around them.

Have you even bothered to read the history (ancient history, that is) of the conflict between Jews and Arabs? It's a big, complicated mess of religion, politics, blood feuds, and more. Lots of bloody hands on both sides.
If you knew the history, you'd articulate an argument based on it, you wouldn't just say "Its complicated so you're wrong." Come on, present a fact.
Here's one: the Muslims invaded Israel because it wasn't ruled by Muslims before Israel stole an inch of land. They didn't care about Palestinians anymore than the ppl on this forum do, that's why they didn't accept a single refugee, while Israel took in nearly a million refugees.

The right to self-defense is not a cliche or a fallacy. Palestine wants all the land, and invaded Israel before Israel occupied or stole an inch of land. The fact that Israel kicks their asses everytime doesn't mean they have to sacrifice innocent civilians every now and then. Hamas is elected in Gaza, and promies to kill every Jew. The government of Israel has the power and
obligation to destroy Hamas. You act like you're more intelligent because you think Israel should act like nihilists. Palestine is not nihilist. They kill ppl just for converting from Islam, or selling land to Jews, and promise to take every inch of Israel.
