There's a great orchestra I heard on the radio a while back that is comprised entirely of Israelis and Palestinians. IDR the name, but it was one of the more interesting things I've heard on NPR. I'll use search-fu and see if I can find it.

Do you know that Israel wants two states, and Palestine doesn't? I mean, that is kindof relevant. When one country attacks another one over and over, the fact that the invader gets his ass kicked over and over (and purposely tries to get their own ppl killed) doesn't change the fact that he's the invader.

Okay, see you're doing everything possible to ignore passing judgment on the actors here. The fact that two sides are wrong doesn't change the fact that one side is much closer to a peace treaty than the other side. Further, Israeli voters VOTED for leaders that wanted two states for decades, only recently has support for 2 states gone down because Gaza elected Hamas, which promises to kill the Jews, so any hope of Palestinian reform is far, far away. The Palestinians have ALWAYS voted to destroy Israel, its the view of their ppl and their govt.

The fact that states don't represent ppl isn't an excuse to ignore the reality of this conflict. Palestinians do in fact elect ppl for saying "We'll destroy Israel and kill all the Jews," and Israel has elected leaders supporting two states (Netanyahu supported 2 states when he was elected). Lol Israeli textbooks, with majority support, say the PA land is disputed territory for a future Palestinian state. PA/Hamas textbooks, with majority support, say Palestine will get all the land.

But... you think each of those facts is just irrelevant? Principles aren't an excuse for lazy judgment. You wanna be neutral, just say it, you don't need to make a pt by throwing ppl under the bus.

No, actually, the PLO/PA and Hamas charters still call for destroying Israel, that's the present. They've offered 95% of the PA territories in 2000, AND 93% of the PA territories in like 2008 with 5% of Israel's land swapped to Palestine. But Palestine wouldn't take it. They're crazy. They've been offered their country, their position is that they want all of Israel. Its in the Hamas charter AND the supposedly moderate PLO/PA charter, they want all of Israel, its what they teach their kids.

So you blame Israel for Hamas purposely using human shields? They glorify death, they tell ppl they'll go to heaven for jumping in front of an Israeli bullet. 100 kids died building Hamas' tunnels underneath Palestinian homes, so when Israel destroys them they can use the civilian deaths as propaganda. And you ppl eat it up, you reward Hamas for this B-S by playing into their stupid narrative. Israel's committed war crimes, but the civilian deaths caused by human shields are on Hamas and the PA, not Israel. If Mexico were building tunnels to transport weapons and terrorists, we'd destroy each of those tunnels, and we wouldn't do it politely, we'd blow them the f*ck apart. If they build it under ppl's homes, that's on them, that's a government purposely getting its own ppl killed. If they build it in densely populated areas, that's on them. There are areas of Gaza with less ppl, but if they launch from there Israel blows them to bits AND they don't even get propaganda for it, so f*ck that, they launch rockets from apartment buildings. Well, that's on Hamas.

Israel does not have to lay down and die because Hamas stores their weapons in schools and hospitals.

Oh please, more propaganda. You say, Israel blows up 100 kids because they were on top of tunnels and it was Hamas' fault. It's ALWAYS HAMAS with the Israel government. I say Israeli government kills 100 kids and goes, "oops, Hamas!" and of course you fall in like the good little dog you are. It's the same thing with the kids being killed in that video and the kids being targeted on the beach. They were shot at, ran away, targeted again and shot at again until they were dead.
