Matthews ironically seems to have a big soft spot for Rand Paul. And he obviously (and curiously) came to Rand's defense by raking Jack Conway over the coals in an Aqua Buddha related interview.

Matthews had been railing against religious tests for office for about two weeks before that interview. Conway decided to attack Rand on his religious history right in the middle of Matthews' crusade.

Im not convinced OBL wasn't simply an imaginary boogeyman used to scapegoat the biggest fed.gov expansion since the New Deal.

I began to consider this in the aftermath of the "raid" on his "compound." The question would persist, however, as to who the individual we know as Bin Laden from photographs actually is. And how there would not be any objection from alleged family members or close associates as to the person's real identity.

Also, I believe Matthews was a full blown Goldwater supporter in his youth and this appears to hold fond nostalgia for him.

Im not suggesting a person in the bin Laden family named Osama didn't exist. Just that he wasn't who he was claimed to be. The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. The fake OBL vids, even admitted as fake by the CIA, really made me start wondering about this possibility.
