Ron Paul's best debate since 2008! He won this debate hands down! He was on his game, and he made excellent points. Even if the audience boo-ed him once, he came out looking like the next POTUS!!!!

I would expected something like Perry talking the biggest hit followed by Romney. Bachmann and Huntsman gained on both of them. Cain no change. Gingrich and Santorum down slightly.

Disagree on Huntsman.
Romney will go up by default, as Perry falls. Bachmann, Paul and Santorum also probably did good for themselves. Cain and Newt... meh.

Paul's very first words should have been to Santorum that America isn't to blame, terrorists thugs are for violating American's liberties THEN get into the CIA talking about blow back and stating that is what our policy created.

That answer would have been a million times better than RP's. Hardly any boos for that, but for what Paul said a host of silence and boos. Not one cheer. IN 2008 we at least got half cheers, this time NONE.

I adore Ron Paul, but he frustrates the hell out of me with clumsy if not self-destructive messaging. He's pissed away easily 5 to 10 percent with poor framing of issues. You can be a principled non-interventionist without blowing your toes off.

I don't give a damn if Paul got crickets from folks that are incapable of understanding. If it's bad press, it will just start a conversation among sheep - and a few more will wake up.

You're right of course. I would say his biggest fault is probably his pride in that he refuses to get debate coaching. He doesn't have to compromise his principals to learn how to make his point clearly.
