But I'm pretty sure that this heterosexual minority that partakes in ass-play doesn't publicly define themselves primarily as such for obvious reasons. Homosexuals are fighting a hopelessly futile PR battle by attempting to justify biologically unnatural acts as being completely respectable. Respect is earned not forced down one's throats. I think they need to collectively get away from the sexual act dominated aspect of their platform and there would be a greater appreciation for men or women who would like to share their lives with members of the same sex.

It's not enough for society to permit people to do what some consider a sin. No no no. Those who disagree with certain lifestyles must be "re-educated" on what is "right and wrong". Nonsense! You can believe whatever you want, if you want to believe that homosexual activities are wrong because the Bible tells you so then fine. If you want to believe that there is a valid reason for it beyond what a really old book says, then you have the option of presenting what that reason is.

It fulfilled a liberal arts course requirement that I would have had to replace with some other sociology type of class. I chose sex. It is a popular class. It is the only class I'm aware of that during the final, they have streakers come through.

There was some really valuable information I learned, actually. A lot of it I apply to subject matter discussed here, but I don't want people to think that my entire outlook is based around some class from a leftist school.

Again, it was a required course to get another degree which I use every god damn day of my life. There is nothing wrong with expanding your horizons. Plus I learned some very useful information. I don't regret it at all.

In my school we really didn't learn much. It was basically "Here are the technical terms for these different parts, here is what they do, here are some scary STD pictures, here is a video of an old/fat/hairy guy rubbing his balls looking for 'cancer', take a test, move on to food safety." It wasn't needed at all.

how about instead of teaching abstinence they don't teach anything and let the unthinking animals do what they want. If they want their lives to be run by emotions then so be it, they should be able to do that and the government shouldn't stop them unless it takes away another persons rights.

If you want to say that the amount of promiscuous practiced by kids under 18 has increased dramatically over the past century, i would agree with that. But teenagers in general have been doing it forever.

I would add that promiscuity is also largely a function of perception - and (unfortunately) perception is often a function of what we want to see.

Children?? You mean teenagers? Well, yes. It has always been the "norm" for teenagers to have sex, however it was less acceptable before and so it was either done with more discretion or within the confines of a more serious, young, relationship that was expected to lead to marriage.

Or they weren't telling you about it. Which could have been for many reasons. There are ways to have sex without getting pregnant too, though coitus specifically is quite risky.

I think the ease of access to abortions does have a lot to do with it. Like I said, my biggest fear was never diseases but rather getting a girl pregnant. That scared the crap out of me.

Porn is the same way. I read an article a while back that stated the biggest problem in Churches today is "porn addiction". Now thats should tell us something. Sexual perversion is pushed on kids from an early age and by age 20 they are full blown addicts.

I would argue than sexual perversion is part of human nature, it has just been repressed by the church for the last 15 centuries. Now that more and more people are no longer die hard bible breeders, these repressed emotions resurface. Please note that I fully support the first amendment and everybody's right to religious beliefs, I am merely stating that morality is relative.
